Latest Update (08/12/2016) – The Railway Recruitment Board has finally declared the results of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) examination 2016 on its regional websites. The results of RRB NTPC have been declared based on the performance in the 1st Stage Examination which was computer based Test. The exam was conducted from March 28, 2016 to May 03, 2016 by this RRB for various posts of NTPC Graduate categories against CEN-03/2015.

The RRB NTPC results have been published in the form of a merit list. The candidates bearing roll numbers (14 digits) arranged in ascending order (not in order of merit) horizontally have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in common 2nd Stage examination which also will be computer based like stage 1. The candidates have been shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the 1st stage exam.
Checking the massive numbers of candidates’ answers sheets has been quoted to be one of the reasons behind the delay. A senior railways official told Catch that the scrutiny of exam papers are still going on. “We’re trying to declare the result as soon as possible. You can expect it by November-end,” said Anil Kumar Saxena, Additional Director General (PR) (Railways).This year, more than 92 lakh candidates had applied for RRB NTPC Stage 1 exam. Owing to several pre-exam confusions, and a little over 56 lakh candidates appeared for the exam held from 3 March to 5 May, 2016. Later on, various the exams for certain test centres were rescheduled after reports of paper leak emerged.
For the RRB Allahabad NTPC Cutoff Marks, the expected cut off marks is 75- 80 marks. For the RRB Mumbai NTPC Cutoff Marks 2016, the expected cut off marks is 75-80 marks, For RRB Ajmer NTPC Cutoff Marks 2016, the expected cut offs will be 73-78 marks. For the RRB Secunderabad cut off marks, the cut offs will 75-80 marks. For RRB Kolkata NTPC cut off marks is 73-78 marks. For RRB Ahmedabad the cut-offs marks will be 73-78 marks, For RRB Bhopal the cut off marks is 75-80 marks.

- Applicants who has appeared for exam can refer to its official website for result.
- Search for link of Merit List by RRB.
- Enter necessary details such as registration number & date of birth.
- Click on Submit button.
- You will be able to see your merit list on screen.
- Download it.
- Take hard copy of it & keep it along with you while appearing for next round if qualified.

The final selection of candidates will be on the basis of merit position obtained in the second stage CBT and/or result of Aptitude Test/Typing Skill Test, wherever applicable. Railway Recruitment Board has started the RRB NTPC exam from March 28, 2016. The recruitment exam was conducted to fill 18252 vacant seats of assistant station master (ASM), clerk, commercial apprentice, inquiry cum reservation clerk, junior accounts, Assistant cum typist, traffic apprentice and good guard posts.

RRB NTPC 2016 Exam Eyes Guinness Records
Last Update (10/10/2016) – RRB NTPC 03/15 results have been further delayed. Apparently, the
results will now be out for the candidates in November at the official website.
The Indian Railways’ Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has sent the proposal for NTPC 2016 exam to be included in Guinness World Records’ Book and the officials notified that the declaration of result is also being pushed back to November 2016 declaration, if a report by Dainik Bhaskar, Rajasthan is to be believed.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB’s) had notified a large pool of vacancies under Non-Technical Popular Category in December last year. For over 18 thousand vacancies, the Board received more than 9.2 million applications. The online test saw the participation of over 5.6 million candidates who have been currently waiting for their result or at least an official update on the same. While giving out a major update, RRD Ajmer Chairman RK Jain told Bhaskar that the results of first stage test would be positively announced in the month of November.
Official Updates : So far, Railway Recruitment Board, Allahabad has come up with four official updates, out of them three were rolled out in August, followed by one in September. In its first notice released on August 10, the Board announced that the facility of objection tracker would be available from August 12 so as to maintain transparency in the world’s biggest online exam. Nothing major was included in the second update provided on August 22 as the Board said the results are under process.
In the third notice released on August 31, the Board said that the final answer keys based on the objections received till August 21 would be released in September/October and a second stage online test (2nd stage CBT) would be conducted. It was also decided that the first stage online test would now serve as a screening test and the candidates equal to 15 times of vacancies would be invited to appear for 2nd stage online test. In the latest update that was notified on September 12, the RRB said the result of 1st stage online examination is under preparation and 2nd stage test is expected to be held in November. The Board maintained that the exact date of 2nd stage online test would be notified to the successful candidates in time.
Last Update (04/10/2016) – According to the reports it is said that around 4.8% or 2,73,780 candidates will be called for the second stage of exam after Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) result 2016 are declared. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will declare RRB NTPC result 2016 for the Non Technical Popular Category (NTPC) recruitment examination’s result by mid October. The second stage, computer-based test for NTPC (graduate) category will be conducted in between the November to December period.
A total of 18,252 vacancies were announced by the Railways Recruitment Board this year. Candidates equal to 15 times of 18,252 will be called for the second stage exam, which will be based on the merit list. This was informed in a notice issued by the Railways. Which means, just 4.8% candidates (273780 of 56 lakh) will be called for the next level of examination.

Last Update – (16/07/2016) As Per The India Today Media Group : The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to declare the result of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) exam on the third week of July. RRB NTPC result 2016 has been delayed once again as the Indian Railways officials confirmed. The RRB NTPC exam results were expected to be announced on July 10, but the officials have stated that the result declaration would take some more time and the latest update will be notified soon.
Latest Update – (09/07/2016) The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has not finalised the date for the declaration of results of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) exam 2016, officials said on Friday.
“The rumours regarding declaration of RRB NTPC exam results on July 10 are incorrect and we are still in the process of preparing the results as a large number of students had appeared in the exam,” Anil Kumar Saxena, Indian Railways’ spokesperson, told Hindustan Times.

The Railway Recruitment Board is not releasing the result of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC-CEN 03/2015) exam on July 10, official sources have confirmed.
“As 56 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, we will take some time to process the result. It is therefore, not releasing on July 10,” said a senior spokesperson from the Railway Board.
