CBSE UGC NET Syllabus – For All 100 Subjects
The syllabus of the CBSE UGC NET will be revised for the first time in 10 years.
UGC NET 2018 Exam Pattern, Syllabus, CBSE UGC NET 2018 All Subjects Paper Pattern
As per latest media reports, University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to revise the for National Eligibility Test (NET) for the first time in last ten years. For the same, UGC has set up 25 committees to revise the syllabus for different subjects. However, since UGC NET is conducted for 100 subjects, more committees are likely to be set up to cover all subjects.
Currently, all committees are in process of preparing the draft syllabus for different subjects. Once prepared, draft syllabus will be sent for approval to the council. Once approved, decision will be taken on when to implement the revised syllabus.

UGC NET Exam Pattern Changed
As per an official notification released by CBSE, UGC NET exam pattern is changed. Check UGC NET 2018 exam pattern below:
UGC NET 2018 Exam Pattern: Going forward, UGC NET will consist of two different papers (Paper I, II) conducted in two sessions. Candidates will need to appear for these two papers in order to be eligible for JRF and Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor only.

Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability. comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper-ll shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
Marking scheme: Two marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam.
UGC NET Exam Pattern for Paper I
Exam pattern for paper I is such that the question paper will be divided into 10 sections as mentioned below:

UGC NET 2017 exam pattern was such that there were three different papers (Paper I, II, and III) conducted in three sessions. Candidates had to appear for all the three papers in order to be eligible for being awarded JRF and Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor only.

Syllabus of CBSE NET 2018 –
The National Eligibility Test will be conducted in 94 subjects. Candidates can choose the subject of their choice while filling the application form of NET 2018.
