AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2017 to begin in 5 days: Check full schedule here
Over 2.84 lakh candidates had appeared for the AIIMS MBBS examination, out of which 4,905 have qualified and are eligible for counselling session in AIIMS.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the counselling schedule on its official website, the link for which is www.aimsexams.org
The counseling is set to begin from July 3.
The result of the medical entrance exam conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was declared on June 14.

Over 2.84 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination, out of which 4,905 have qualified and are eligible for counselling session in AIIMS.
This year, Nishita Purohit has secured the first position in the exam.
Interestingly, the first 10 toppers are from the same coaching institute in Kota.
Counselling details:
- First counselling: From July 3 to July 6
- Second counselling: August 3
- Third counselling: September 2
- Open counselling: September 27
Venue of counselling: The counseling for allotment of seats to seven AIMS will be held at AIMS, New Delhi at J.L. Auditorium (8:30 am).
OPH Candidates:
Meanwhile, OPH candidates will have to report on respective day of counseling.
Here’s the reporting time and date for OPH candidates:
- Al OPH candidate belonging to UR category: July 3 (8:30 am)
- Al OPH candidate belonging to OBC category: July 5
- Al OPH candidate belonging to SC/ST category: July 6
After the completion of the counselling process, the list of selected /shortlisted candidates will be published on the official website of AIIMS.
Also, an Email /SMS Alert will be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers.

AIIMS Paper Leak case:
A case was registered on a complaint filed by AIIMS authorities that photos of its MBBS entrance examination were ready available online on social media platforms.
As reported by PTI, whistleblower of Vyapam scam, Anand Rai, in a series of tweets, posted images of question papers of the entrance examination. He claimed to have received the question paper screenshots from a source who said these were leaked from a college in Lucknow when the online test was on.
