CAT Results 2017: The scores of this entrance test will be accepted by the 20 IIMs and over 100 top B-schools across the country like FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, et al.
The results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 entrance examination have been declared. You can check the results on the official website iimcat.ac.in.
The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). The CAT scores are used for admission to various management institutes across the country.
Earlier the results were expected to be announced on January 5.
Score Card CAT 2017 is now available for download.
The results once declared would be available on the official website. The exact dates for the release of the results are not confirmed yet. The speculated date for the announcement of the CAT 2017 results is January 8, 2018. Last year, CAT 2016 exam results were declared on January 9, 2017. Candidates who have appeared for the CAT 2017 examination are advised to keep patience and wait for the official confirmation of the release date of the CAT 2017 results.

All candidates are advised to note that the selection in IIM is not only on the basis of CAT score. Depending on the admission policies, all IIMs would give a certain weight to the CAT 2017 percentile. Apart from that, the IIMs have also given weights to class 10th and 12th marks, graduation percentage. Some IIMs are also giving additional points to female candidates.
A step-by-step guide to check your CAT result 2017:
- Open the official website of the CAT – iimcat.ac.in
- Click on the ‘Download Scorecard for CAT 2017‘
- Enter your CAT 2017 registered user ID and password to log in and click on View/Download Application Form/Score Card
- Now click on the ‘Scorecard‘ link
- Your score will be displayed on the screen
- Click on the download link to save your scorecard for future reference. You can also take a print out of the same.
Your CAT 2017 Scorecard will also be sent to your registered email ID and you will also receive a notification on your registered mobile number through SMS.
