CBSE 12th Result 2018: More Than 11 Lakh Student Wait In Anticipation, Result Today
The CBSE 12th Result 2018, CBSE Result 2018 is releasing today by 12:30 pm. The Central Board of Secondary Education will declare the CBSE 12th Result, CBSE Class 12 exam Result 2018 on its official website cbse.nic.in.
The Central Board of Secondary Education is responsible for conducting the CBSE Class 12 examinations. This year the board conducted the CBSE Class 12 Board examination from 5 March – 13th April 2018.
The result will be released on the official results portal on cbse.examresults.net , results.nic.in/index , cbseresults.nic.in , results.gov.in Students would also be able to check their result through Google Search, Microsoft mobile app and through SMS. After result declaration CBSE will also begin the post-result counselling which will continue till June 9, 2018.
DigiLocker can also be accessed from your mobile phone on Android and iOS platforms. Result will also be available on the Umang app which can be downloaded on android, iOS and windows based smart phone.
Last year, CBSE Class 12 result was announced in the last week of May and the result for Class 10 was announced in first week of June.
Earlier, the board had assured that declaration of results will not be delayed due to re-test of the Economics paper, after a purported leak.

Steps to check CBSE Class 12th Result 2018:
- Step 1: Click on official website link cbse.nic.in
- Step 2: Look for the tab which says CBSE 12th Result 2018 or CBSE Result 2018
- Step 3: Click on CBSE 12th Board Exam result 2018
- Step 4: Enter your admit card details
- Step 5: Download your CBSE Result 2018 for future reference
CBSE Class 12 Result 2018 can also be accessed through the following modes:
- IVR: CBSE Class 10 and CBSE 12th Result 2018 can be accessed via an IVR system that gives you your results via a call. The charges for the same are 30p per minute per roll number
- SMS: Students can access their results via SMS charged at 50 paise per SMS
- DigiLocker: The account details are sent via SMS to the student’s registered mobile number. You will get your mark sheets for CBSE Board Results 2018 in your locker
- Official School Websites: Some schools also post the CBSE Board Results 2018 on their website and you can access your results there.
The post-result CBSE counseling will begin from May 26 and continue till June 9 from 8 am to 10 pm on all days. For the 21st consecutive year, CBSE will be providing counseling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class X and XII results.
The counselling will be provided by 69 trained specialists, who will have among them principals and psychologists located in India, Singapore, Nepal and several Gulf countries, the board said.
More than 28 lakh students had appeared to give their exams for both classes combined, which were held at 8,591 across the country and Gulf and other nations.
