NEET 2018 exam date is in the month of May. Application form of NEET 2018 will be released by CBSE at cbseneet.nic.in on 31st January. Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MBBS and BDS admission in academic session 2018-2019. It is a national level medical entrance exam. It is confirmed that exam date will be between 1st and 7th May 2018. CBSE is issuing NEET 2018 application form in January. As soon as the form is available, you can apply online at cbseneet.nic.in. NEET UG 2018
Admission to undergraduate medical and dental programs will be on basis of CBSE NEET UG 2018. Medical institutions approved by MCI, DCI shall have to consider NEET 2018 for providing admission in MBBS/BDS courses. It will be single stage objective type test. You can submit an online application form to appear in the exam, and participate in counselling with a valid NEET 2018 result score.
The medical entrance exam is held on the first Sunday in the month of May every year. The first Sunday of May 2018 is 6th May 2018. Hence it is likely that NEET 2018 exam date could be Sunday, 6 May 2018.

CBSE NEET UG 2018 Application Form
To speak in short and brief words, the application procedure comprises basically of 4 steps. 1) Filling the form 2) Uploading the images 3) making the Payment and lastly 4) taking Print out of the Confirmation page.
Step-1 Filling the form –
Application Form shall be accepted in online mode only. It shall be filled by visiting the official website at cbseneet.nic.in where candidates shall fill all the necessary details like personal, contact, qualification and domicile etc.
Step-2 Uploading Photograph/Thumb impression and Signature –
Candidates shall upload the scanned images of their recently taken photograph (against a light background), signature (by candidates herself on plain white sheet) and of impression of index finger as per guidelines.
Step-3 Payment- pay the fees using online and offline mode.

The candidates who had applied for NEET last year, paid the sum depending on their category to which they belong. The table shows the fee amount applicable to candidates last year. It is likely that this year as well, the amount may be same. As per trends followed in the NEET, the fees is usually accepted in online mode and in offline mode as well. Applicant gets the opportunity to pay the money via debit or credit card. A lot of students also choose to make their payment through e-challan of banks.
Step-4 Confirmation Page Print
After the final step i.e payment, a full-fledged application form with all the documents uploaded and entries filled displays on your screen. This is a message to confirm that you agree to the details. You can take a print of this page for proof of details in form and that form submission is over in case any discrepancy arises later on. NEET UG 2018 confirmed, will be a single window exam for MBBS/BDS admission to 100% seats
It is usually the norm for CBSE to send out consent to act as an observer notices to various universities before conducting NEET UG. This notice requests universities to submit names of members who can act as observers.
Through that notice, it confirms that NEET UG 2018 will be conducted. It will be a single window examination (there will be exam on a single day in a single window).
CBSE is making preparation for the conduct of NEET 2018 examination. The schedule of the same will be shortly finalized and communicated to all concerned through various communication modes.
The NEET exam is for admission to MBBS/BDS courses throughout the country for 100% seats.
CBSE NEET UG 2018 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate is strongly advised to check his/her eligibility before applying. Since there have been some changes in the entrance test, candidates must go through the criteria carefully. You will have to satisfy 3 standards initially.
(i) Age Limit
- Minimum Age: individual applying must be at least 17 years old as on or before 31st December of 2018.
- Maximum Age: individual applying must be less than 25 years (for unreserved candidates) and 30 years (for SC, ST, OBC).
(ii) Nationality Conditions
- Nationality: Applicant must be Indian National or Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Foreign National.
- J&K/AP/Telangana: NEET 2018 aspirants from J&K/AP/Telangana shall be entitled to an All India 15% quota only if they submit self-declaration.
- Aadhaar Card Requirement: Indian Nationals must produce Aadhaar Number details and fill the 18 digit number in the space while filling the application form.
(iii) Qualification
- Examination: a 12th class qualification or equivalent is essential.
- Subjects: Subjects studied at 12th class level should include Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English.
- 10+2 appearing- students going to appear in 12th are also eligible to apply.
- Marks Requirement: In the qualifying exam (PCB group), candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks for GEN, whereas for general-PH, the requirement is 45% marks while for SC/ST and OBC, the requirement is 40%.
CBSE NEET UG 2018 Syllabus

As we have seen that, the NEET question paper is prepared as per the guidelines laid down by the MCI (Medical Council of India). CBSE NEET UG 2018 Admit card
The CBSE will issue Admit Cards of NEET (UG) 2018 on the Board’s website at cbseneet.nic.in. It will most likely have an empty space for the purpose of pasting a Postcard size photograph. You should be able to download the hall ticket by 1st week of April 2018. CBSE does not send any individual intimation or send the admit card by post. However, you may receive an email about Admit Card on the registered email id. Candidates must check their Photograph, Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Signature, Category, Sub-Category, Date of Birth, Language of Question Paper with Name and Address of examination and also centre. Inform the board in case of a discrepancy.
Dress Code
NEET 2018 applicants are informed that exam conducting body sticks to the dress code very seriously. Therefore this time as well take special note of the dress code. If possible wear:-
(a) Light clothes with half sleeves without big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with Salwar/ Trouser.
(b) wear open Slippers, sandals with low heels (no shoes)
CBSE NEET UG 2018 Answer Key
After the entrance test, CSBE board shall publish challengeable answer key in codes of A, B, C and D. You will be able to see the images of OMR responses that you had marked in the paper. Candidates noticing error can challenge the answer key with authentic support. Last year, the opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading was available. Fee amount for challenging answer key was Rs.1000/- per response. Refund of amount is subject to board accepting challenge.
CBSE NEET UG 2018 Result
The Central Board of Secondary Education evaluates the Answer Sheets. Candidates are awarded marks out of 720. Result is hosted on website www.cbseneet.nic.in which might be out in 1st week of June 2018.
Exact date of result declaration will be available later on website. The CBSE will also prepare the merit list/ wait list as directed by DGHS, MCI and DCI. the result will be out in pdf form carrying the names of the candidates who have qualified. There shall be no category wise result sheet.
