Eligibility Criteria –
- Age Limits: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st January, 2010, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1980 and not later than 1st January, 1989
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or forestry or Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent.
- A degree in Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent. M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subject acceptable for certain Services/posts only.

Reservation Seats –
As per Govt. policy i.e. 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC & 3% for PH (across board) categories. One seat (supernumery) in each affiliated IHM shall be provided for Registered Kashmiri migrants subject to notification from Ministry of HRD for academic session 2011‐12. {5700 Seats Available}
