Central Universities, invites applications for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET 2015) for admission to Integrated UG and PG programmes, for the academic year 2015-16
A consortium of 8 Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu (called Participating Universities, PUs) which were established by an act of Parliament in the year 2009 will organize a combined Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2015) for admission to their various programmes

Culture & Media Studies, Economic, English, Hindi, Public Policy Law & Governce, Social Work [20 each Seats]: Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
M. Pharm Programmes (2 Years)
Pharmaceutical Chemistry: [23 Seats (18+5 sponsored students)]: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
Candidates with above qualifications but without valid GATE/GPAT Score will have to appear for the Entrance Test
Candidates with requisite qualifications and having at least two years of work experience in registered pharmaceutical company /Govt./Govt.-recognized Organizations (University/Colleges engaged in teaching and research, Govt. R&D institutions or R&D centers of industry) are eligible to apply under the category of sponsored students and will also have to appear in the Entrance Test
The work experience should be in the area mentioned in the requisite qualifications; sponsored candidates shall have to submit a sponsorship letter from their employer along with the application form for admission
M.Sc Programmes (2 years)
Biochemistry (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree with Biochemistry/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Microbiology/ Medicine/ Pharmacy/ any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or 2 semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
Biotechnology (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree with Biotechnology/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biochemistry/Genetics/Microbiology/Medicine/Pharmacy/any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or Two semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
Chemistry (20 Seats): B.Sc degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum of 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates with Chemistry as one of the main subjects
Computer Science (20 Seats): Following degree holders from recognized Universities with minimum score of 50% marks in graduation for general category and minimum 45% marks for reserved categories are eligible:
i) BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/B.Sc IT/ B.Tech. Comp Engg/ B.Tech IT/ or equivalent
ii) B.Sc with computer science as one of the subject at graduation level
iii) Graduation with Mathematics and 12th in Science stream

M. Arch (Sustainable Architecture) (20 Seats): Bachelor of Architecture degree course or equivalent courses recognized by the Council of Architecture with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
Candidate with valid GATE Score will be preferred and will be exempted from appearing for the Entrance Test
MBA Programmes (2 Years)
Master of Business Administration (30 Seats): Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University in any discipline with 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
M.Tech Programmes (2 years) (Regular Seats (18 Seats) will be filled through CCMT-2015)
Computer Science & Engineering (Sponsored Category): 05 (Sponsored Seats)
Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering /MCA/M.Sc with a valid minimum GATE Score in Computer Science and Engineering; candidates with above qualifications but without valid GATE Score will have to appear for the Entrance Test
Preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE Scores. Candidates with requisite qualifications and having at least two years of work experience in the relevant field of Govt./Govt.-recognized Organizations (University/Colleges engaged in teaching and research, Govt R&D institutions or R&D centers of industry) are eligible to apply under the category of sponsored students and will also have to appear in the Entrance Test
M.A./ M.Sc (Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics)
Statistics (Specialization in Acturial Science) (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50%marks and Statistics/Mathematics as one of the papers in the degree course, provided that the candidate has studied the subject of Mathematics at the 12th standard level as prescribed by CBSE or any State Board, 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
M.Sc. Tech. Mathematics (2+1 Years with exit option)
M.Sc Tech Mathematics (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduate level with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Eligibility: A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned or in a cognate / allied subject with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; 5% relaxation in minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/OBC/PWD candidates
Architecture (04 Seats)
A consistently good academic record possessing:
a) Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent and Master’s degree in architecture/allied specialization or equivalent from any recognized institution;
or b) Bachelor’s Degree in architecture or equivalent in first class with ten years’ experience in teaching/research/professional practice
(As per the CoA norms candidate having only a B.Arch Degree shall in addition to the prescribed coursework for candidates with Masters’ degree, be required to pursue the course work successfully in six subjects of the Master’s Degree courses of the School recommended by the Research Committee)
3 Year Integrated M.Sc B.Ed Programmes
[Physics – 15 seats, Chemistry – 15 seats, Mathematics – 15 seats, Economics – 15 seats]: B.Sc Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates with Physics as one of the main subjects
Reservation of Seats: Reservation of seats will be as per the GOI/UGC norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH wards

Candidates are required to apply online only through CUCET-2015 website. General Information for filling the online application can be obtained from CUCET 2015 website
Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree/certificate are also eligible to apply
How to Apply
Applicants are required to fill in the details in the form carefully. On submission of online application successfully the students will get successful completion message in the online case, In the offline case the candidate will get a message after reconciliation from the bankwithin 2-3 days
A candidate may fill the form partially and login again to complete it later; candidates will receive SMSs and Email alerts at the time of registration and after completing payment through online, in the offline case the student will get a message after reconciliation from SBI

Stage 3: The following is the screen shot for registration process into various program; after successful registration candidate will get a mail and message to the respective register mail id and mobile

i. Rs.600/- for One PU; Application Fee – Rs.600/-; Bank Comission – Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI – 650/- for One PU
ii. Rs.700/- for One PU; Application Fee – Rs.700/-; Bank Comission – Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI – 750/- for One PUs
iii. Rs.800/- for One PU; Application Fee – Rs.800/-; Bank Comission – Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI – 850/- for One PUs
SC/ST/PWD Candidates
i. Rs.250/- for One PU; Application Fee – Rs.250/-; Bank Comission – Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI – 300/- for One PU
ii. Rs.300/- for One PU; Application Fee – Rs.300/-; Bank Comission – Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI – 350/- for One PUs

Ppayment through online/debit/credit card no extra charges are to be paid. So, students are advised to have recourse to online/debit/credit card mode of payment
If an applicant pays the examination fee through Offline Challan mode of SBI, the bank charges of INR 50 will be borne by the candidate
Candidates are allowed to appear for CUCET-2015 provisionally subject to the final verification of mark sheets/degrees/certificates, validity of certificates/mark sheets of qualifying exam and also of non-involvement in the adoption of unfair means in any of the University Examinations/ Entrance Tests held earlier, at the time of admission
Exam Pattern
All Question Papers will be MCQ based consisting of:
i) Part A: Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills – comprising of 25 MCQs
ii) Part B: Domain Knowledge – comprising of 75 MCQs; this part may consist of three/four/five sections; each section will have 25 questions; a candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions)
However, he must ensure that he fills right circles in the OMR Sheet corresponding to the question numbers attended
iii) For Admission to some Integrated Courses/MBA/MCA/LLB/LLM or any other general course(s), only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held
iv) The candidate will have to choose one correct answer and mark on OMR Sheet
v) Each paper will be only of Two Hours Duration
vi) There will be no negative marking

Hall tickets will only be notified on CUCET-2015 website (www.cucet2015.co.in); it is the responsibility of the candidates to check the website for downloading the hall tickets, results and relevant information related to the CUCET-2015
The coordinating University (Central University of Rajasthan) reserves all rights related to conducted of CUCET-2015. The decision of Chairman, Steering, Committee CUCET-2015 would be final and blinding for all matters related to conduct of test
