Common Law Admission Test 2016 Admit Card Download
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law – Punjab is going to conduct Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2016 for UG & PG on 8th May 2016 and will be issuing the CLAT 2016 Admit Card on April 19. All the candidates are requested to download the admit cards for the same from the website www. clat.ac.in . Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a non-statutory body created under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country. An entrance test is conducted to provide a list of candidates on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference’ to each University for admission to their UG/PG programmes, as per the eligibility, reservation and other criteria laid down under the respective statutes of the participating Universities. CLAT 2016 receives record-breaking 45k applications
It seems that the interest in pursuing law is gaining momentum with an increase in the number of applicants for the common law admission test (CLAT) over the years.
Surpassing past 9 years record this year, more than 45040 law aspirants from across 20 cities have applied for the CLAT 2016. Last year, 39686 applicants had applied for the centralized online exam. The law exam is scheduled to be held on May 8 at over 170 centres in the country.
