Job Description
Applications are invited for the Post of JRF/SRF/RA for the CSIR-EMR Funded Project (Sanction Order No.: 03(1450)18/EMR-II dated 05-06-2018) in Department of Chemistry, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu
Title of the Project : Development of Polyvinylidene Fluoride/Hyperbranched Polyester based Energy Harvesting Nanogenerator.
Qualification : M.Sc./M.Tech./Ph.D. in Chemistry/Materials Science.
Desirable (if any) :
1. Candidates with hands-on experience in polymer synthesis / electrospinning / polymer physics.
2. Candidates with strong background in polymer characterization methods.
3. Experience in writing scientific publications.
Stipend :
- JRF without NET: Rs 16,000 + 10% HRA (M.Sc./M.Tech.)
- JRF with NET: Rs. 25,000 + 10% HRA (M.Sc./M.Tech.)
- SRF: Rs. 28,000 + 10% HRA (M.Sc./M.Tech. with 2 years research experience + 1 SCI Journal Publication)
- RA: Rs. 36,000, consolidated (Ph.D. in Chemistry with publications in at least 2 SCI Journals)
