CSIR NET Cutoff 2017
CSIR determines cutoff every year, separately for the National Eligibility Test. It is the minimum score, determined by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, to delimit the candidates for selection.
The conducting authority will disclose the CSIR NET Cutoff along with the result of the examination. The conducting body announced the result of the examination as pdf and it only contains the following details:
- Roll Number of qualified candidates
- Rank secured by the candidates
The candidates will have to seek their details in the entire list and if it is there then the candidates have qualified for JRF/Lectureship. In the result PDF, CSIR will firstly give the details of JRF (NET) qualifying candidates and then of the candidates qualified for Lectureship (NET).
Score of CSIR NET 2017
The Council calculated the score of the examination on the basis of marking scheme of the examination. The conducting body only considered those candidates for rank allocation who scored more than the cutoff marks. The basis for allocation of CSIR NET Rank 2017 is the difference between the score and the cutoff of the examination.
The result of CSIR NET 2017 only display the rank of the selected candidates. However, CSIR also reveals the score and the cutoff of the exam after the announcement of the result. A login will become functional and the candidates will be able to check it from there.
