CSIR NET Dec Result 2018 – Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), will announce the CSIR UGC NET Dec Result 2018 in 1st week of April 2019. The examination was conducted on December 16, 2018, in two sessions, i.e. in morning and afternoon.

CSIR NET Dec Result 2018 will be announced by CSIR-UGC for the candidates who will give the exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS). CSIR NET Dec Result 2018 can be downloaded through the online mode. The link to Download the CSIR NET Dec Result will be provided on this page, or you can get it from the CSIR-HRDG website www.csirhrdg.res.in. The exam date for CSIR NET December 2018 is December 16, 2018. CSIR NET Dec Result 2018 will be in the pdf format. The result will contain the roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified the exam. The CSIR declared the CSIR NET Result June 2018 on 28th November.
The CSIR NET Dec 2018 Cut Off of different categories will be provided. The name of those candidates will appear in the merit list who will score equal to or above the given marks in the cut off list. Two separate merit lists will be prepared to announce the result. In the CSIR NET June 2018 exam, 1991 candidates have qualified in the JRF (NET) CSIR. These candidates are also eligible for Lectureship-NET subject to their fulfilling criteria for lectureship as laid down by UGC. 59 candidates have qualified in the test for fellowship (JRF only).
1500 candidates have qualified in the test for JRF-NET. These candidates are also eligible for Lectureship-NET subject to their fulfilling criteria for lectureship as laid down by UGC.
3756 candidates have qualified the eligibility test for Lectureship-NET. The candidates qualifying for Lectureship-NET will be eligible for recruitment as lecturer as well as for JRF-Ship in a Scheme/Project, if otherwise suitable as per the eligibility criteria of that Scheme/Project. However, they will not be eligible for regular JRF-NET Fellowship. They will be eligible to pursue Ph.D program with or without any fellowship other than JRF-NET.

In December 2017 CSIR Net Exam, 3973 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship. The number of candidates that qualified for lectureship are 4409. The candidates who are over-aged for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be awarded Lectureship (LS) only. Those candidates who are well prepared for their exam need not worry about the result.

CSIR NET Dec Result 2018
The statement of marks will also be announced separately. In June exam a total 7247 selected for JRF and Lectureship. For JRF (NET) CSIR, the total of 1991 candidates have qualified and for JRF (NET) UGC 1500 candidates have been selected. The number of qualified candidates for Lectureship (NET) is 3756. How to check CSIR NET Dec Result 2018?
CSIR UGC will release the statement of marks of candidate along with the merit list. The CSIR NET Dec Result 2018 will be announced in the pdf form. Follow the steps given below to check the result of CSIR NET December 2018
- Step 1: Visit the official website of CSIR HRDG www.csirhrdg.res.in.
- Step 2: On the official website, click on the link of Result.
- Step 3: The Result will be in pdf format. Check your roll number on the Result page.
CSIR NET Dec Marks Statement 2018
There will be a separate link to check the statement of marks of a candidate. Through the statement of marks, the candidates can check his actual result and the number of marks that he scored in each paper of the exam. To check your statement of marks, you will have to follow the steps provided below
- Step 1: Go to the official website www.csirhrdg.res.in.
- Step 2: Click on the link provided to check the statement of marks.
- Step 3: You will be directed to a new page after clicking on the link. On that page, you will have to provide your date of birth, your roll number, along with a security question.
- Step 4: After filling all the details, click on the Submit tab. Your Scorecard of CSIR NET December 2018 will appear on the screen.
CSIR NET December 2018 Cut off
The cut off will be released along with the merit list. To qualify the exam for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship, the candidates have to get the minimum marks mentioned in the cut off. The minimum marks to qualify are different for every category. Last year cut off marks of different categories have been given below. CSIR Net Dec Merit List 2018
Two merit lists will be prepared for the candidates. The first merit list will have names of the candidates who will be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship. The other merit list will be prepared for the candidates who will be eligible for Lectureship only. The candidates who qualify the exam for JRF will be allowed to teach as lecturers as well, whereas the candidates with LS certificate will not get the benefits of JRF. The Certificates will be sent at the mailing address.
JRF Stipend
CSIR UGC will provide stipend to the candidates who qualify JRF. Check additional details regarding the JRF Stipend from below
- Candidates who qualify for Junior Research Fellowship through the CSIR NET December Exam 2018 will be provided the stipend of Rs. 25000/- p.m. for first 2 years.
- There are certain terms and conditions for granting the fellowship to the candidates. Candidates can check all the conditions on the website www.csirhrdg.res.in.
- If the candidate fails to register himself within 2 years at any university, then his fellowship will not be granted to him after that.
- The fellowship will be increased to Rs. 28000/- p.m. after two years if the candidate is registered for PhD. The fellowship will be increased for third year and subsequent years.
- The upgrade should be recommended by an Expert committee (check the relevant details from the official website)
CSIR NET Previous Result Stats
