Every year CSIR conducts the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam to select the eligible candidates for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship in subject areas under the faculty of Science and Technology. In this article, we have updated the details of CSIR UGC NET June 2017 Cut Off Marks for General, OBC, SC, ST. CSIR publishing two separate CSIR NET June 2017 Cut Off lists i.e. CSIR UGC NET June 2017 Cut Off Marks for Lectureship and CSIR NET JRF June 2017 Cut Off for Junior Research Fellowship.

CSIR NET June 2017 Cut Off Marks
CSIR NET June 2017 Cut Off is the minimum qualifying score required in the particular subject/disciplines in order to qualify the Joint CSIR UGC NET Exam. There won’t be any sectional cut off. The cumulative score of all sections will be taken into consideration for preparing the Merit List. All the successful candidates for junior research fellowship will be allotted rank as per the JRF Merit List.
CSIR UGC NET June 2017 Important dates:
- Last date to deposit the fee (all station): March 7 Last date for online submission of application (all station): March 8
- Last date of receipt of completed hard copy of online application in the Examination Unit: March 14
- Last date of receipt of completed hard copy of online application in the Examination Unit (from remote areas): March 21
- Last date for receipt of written request for change of Examination Centre only on merit basis: April 20
- Tentative date of the publication of list of candidates registered for test on CSIR, HRDG website: May 16
- Last date for accepting the representation about non-registration for this test: May 23
- Date of MCQ Examination: June 18

Candidates to be eligible for Lectureship should secure cutoff score as per category. CSIR will fix cutoff score for each discipline – Chemical Science, Earth Science, Life Science, Mathematical Science and Physical Sciences.Based on the CSIR UGC NET cutoff 2017, the result will be declared. CSIR UGC NET Cutoff 2017 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) (Expected)
CSIR will decide separate qualifying marks to select candidates for Junior Research Fellowship. As per cutoff score, candidates will be distributed between CSIR and UGC in the ratio of the number of fellowships available. Candidates with Bachelors degree will be allocated to CSIR for fellowship. The cutoff of CSIR UGC NET 2016 for JRF is given below.

CSIR UGC NET June 2017 Examination Pattern
The candidates who are appearing for the exam can check out the paper pattern below:
The single paper shall consist of multiple choice questions based on the subjects namely : –

CSIR UGC NET 2017 Exam Pattern
- The Test will be held in a total of five subjects viz., Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Physical Sciences Chemical Sciences, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences.
- It will consist of a single MCQ paper comprising of 200 marks.
The question paper will be divided into three Parts- A, B, and C as described below:
Part A – First part will be common to all the subjects and will include questions pertaining to logical reasoning, graphical analysis, General Aptitude, numerical ability etc.
Part B – Second part of the test will include conventional MCQs covering various topics of the concerned subject. For subject of Engineering Sciences, however, questions pertaining to Engineering Aptitude and Mathematics will be included.
Part C – This section will comprise of questions of a higher value that will be designed to test a candidate’s knowledge of scientific concepts and/or its application. Questions in this section will be of an analytical nature. For the subject of Engineering Sciences, it will include subject-related Multiple Choice Questions.
Negative Marking: There will be a deduction of the marks for wrong answers as per the subject wise scheme of the exam. The benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempt the question in case, any question found to be wrong at a later stage then.
CSIR UGC NET 2017 June Admit card
The appearing candidates of CSIR UGC NET June 2017, can download their admit cards from the official website www.csirhrdg.res.in which will be issued by May 2017. The candidates have to enter their application form number and date of birth to download their admit card. No hard copy of admit cards will be issued to any candidate. The candidates have to carry their admit cards at the examination centre.
CSIR UGC NET Answer Key 2017
- The Answer Key will be made available as per different subjects.
- It will be provided in the set A, B, C, D.
- It will contain the correct answers of the questions asked in the exam.
CSIR UGC NET Result 2017
Result will be declared in the month of October/November 2017. Candidates qualifying the single MCQs will be awarded JRF and will be eligible for Lectureship.
