CTET Exam September 2016: Apply online at ctet.nic.in
CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test that has been conducted by the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE). CTET 2016 has announced the Examination Application form for the upcoming examination in the month of September 2016.
The CBSE will be conducting the 10th edition of CTET on September 18, 2016 for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class 1 to class 8.
Candidates interested in applying should fill the online application form before July 18, 2016.
Candidates who are going to appear in the examination are notifying that you have to fill the CTET 2016 Application Form for September month exam which will available between 22nd June to 18 July 2016 on the official website.

CTET Sept 2016 Application fees:
Candidates belonging to the general/OBC category will have to pay a sum of Rs 600, for one paper and Rs 1000 in case they want to appear for both the papers.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/Differently-abled category will have to pay a sum of Rs 300, for one paper and Rs 500 in case they want to appear for both the papers.

CTET Sept 2016 Paper Pattern:
All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET.
- Paper 1 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
- Paper 2 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8.

Requirements for CTET Application Form 2016
Candidates should fulfill the following criteria before applying to CTET 2016 exam.
1. Eligibility Criteria for Paper I
Candidate must have 50% in (10 + 2) i. e. higher secondary along with two-year diploma in elementary education OR
Candidate must have 50% in senior secondary along with either a 4 year’s degree of education or the candidate has appeared in the last year of their B.ED
2. Eligibility Criteria for Paper II
Candidate must have secured 50% in graduation along with one-year degree of Bachelor in education (B-ED) or (B-ED) in special education OR
Candidate must have secured 50% in senior secondary along with either a degree or have appeared in last year in any of following courses B.A/B.SC.ED or B.A.ED/B.SC.ED
