Have you ever heard of doctors and nurses performing dance ritual in the ICU ? Yes you heard it right, it can happen only in India . Nurses & staff in Ahmedabad based Sola Civil hospital, started performing a Gujarati dance called Garba in the Intensive Care Unit ward risking all the lives of patients .
ICU where there are so many restrictions like no squeaky shoes or no noise or restriction of people to avoid infection of any sorts , one can see that the rules were flouted openly.
Instead of serving patients , they are playing loud music and dancing away for long . The hospital recently opened a centrally air-conditioned hemodialysis centre for the better and cheaper treatment , and for inauguration they have called the chief minister . Well we can see the cheap treatment for sure.

Well we think they should be taught the duties and ethics of being a nurse , hospital staff and doctors.
The best institutes where they should be send so that they understand the care that’s involved in ICU are
- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi
- Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore
- Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune
