Candidates can download GATE previous year paper with solutions in order to prepare for coming GATE examination. You can download GATE papers from the corresponding links to prepare for 2016 exam. GATE 2016 will be held for a total of 23 papers inclusive of a new one – Petroleum Engineering.
GATE 2016 Examination Date. IISc Bangalore will be conducting GATE 2016 on January 30 & 31, 2016 as well as February 6 & 7, 2016. Candidates in their final year can also apply and appear for GATE 2016.

GATE 2016 Important Dates:
- Online Enrolment: from September 1, 2015
- Last Date for Online Application Submission: October 1, 2015 extended till October 8, 2015
- Request for Change in the Choice of City : By November 20, 2015
- Download of Admit Card: December 17, 2015 onwards
- GATE 2015 Examination: January 30 & 31, 2016 and February 6, 7, 2016Timings: Forenoon: 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon, Afternoon: 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM
- GATE 2016 Result: To be declared on March 19, 2016 at 5 pm
