GATE 2018 Final Answer Key To Be Released on March 14; Result On March 17
GATE 2018 Final Answer Key : IIT Guwahati released the official answer key for GATE 2018 exam on February 19, 2018. The process for challenge submission began on February 21 and was concluded on February 23, 2018. After the authorities have gone through the challenges submitted by the candidates who appeared in the exam, the conducting authority will release the final answer key on March 14, 2018. The GATE 2018 Result will be prepared based on the final answer key of GATE 2018 and no challenge will be accepted on the final answer key.
After the publication of the GATE 2018 final answer key on March 14, the result will be announced on March 17. Once the result is released, candidates would be able to download their GATE 2018 score card from March 20, 2018.

GATE 2018 Score
After the evaluation of the answers, the raw scores of candidates will be used to calculate the GTE scores. In case of subjects for which exams were conducted in multiple sessions, raw marks obtained by the candidates in different sessions will be converted to normalized marks for that particular subject.
GATE 2018 scores will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of result.

GATE 2018 Tentative Cutoff : The qualifying cutoff of GATE 2018 will be announced by the IIT Guwahati along with the result on March 17. The released GATE cutoff 2018 will consist of the minimum marks that the candidates will have to secure to qualify the examination. M.Tech aspirants can check the GATE 2018 cutoff on this page to know the minimum score that will allow them a chance of admissions at the IITs, NITs and other leading institutes. Candidates must also keep in mind that the GATE cutoff 2018 will be separate for qualifying and admissions. The authorities of each institute offering M.Tech admissions through GATE will also be releasing their individual GATE 2018 cutoff. For admissions into the institutions offering M.Tech courses, the candidates will have to meet the set cutoff or score higher. GATE 2018 cutoff will also be used in various PSU recruitments. In the meantime, candidates can refer to the cutoff from the previous years to get an idea of what to score in GATE 2018.
