Important Instruction to Remember while Appearing for the Gate 2018 Exam 

There are many important points to note while appearing for Gate 2018 exam. All the candidates are required to bring along the colored copy of admit card along with the identification proof. All the Indian Candidates can bring either one of the ID proofs from Voter Card, PAN card, Aadhaar Card, College ID, Employee ID etc. whereas the international candidates are required to bring along the Valid passport or the Government issued ID as ID proof while coming for Gate 2018 exam.

After Exam Schedule, Date for Gate 2018 Admit Cards Out

GATE, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted every year by IITs across the country. This year, Gate 2018 is going to be conducted by IIT Guwahati. After releasing the exam schedule for Gate 2018, IIT-G has now issued the date for Admit cards online at the official portal of the Gate. After the completion of the application process of Gate 2018 on 9th October 2017, IIT Guwahati has now issued the official date of admit cards for the exam online. All the candidates who have registered successfully for the Gate 2018 and are waiting for their admit cards, should know that these will be out on 5th January 2018.

Admit Cards for Gate 2018 to be Issued By IIT Guwahati 

Admit card is one of the most important documents that a candidate has to bring along while appearing for the exam. The admit cards for Gate 2018 exam that is scheduled to be conducted from 3rd Feb 2018 will be made available on 5th Jan by IIT-Guwahati. All the candidates who applied for the exam will be able to download and print the admit card through the official website of IIT-G. Admit card is the one document that acts like your Hall ticket and without which you will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Admit card contains the candidate’s personal information along with the signature and photograph of the candidate. Not only this but admit cards also has the exam slot and registration number for the candidate.

Before downloading and taking the print of admit card for Gate 2018, a candidate is advised to verify all the credentials mentioned in the document. In case there is any discrepancy, the candidate should immediately contact the authorities to make the correction. Remember the print taken should be colored and no soft copy will be admissible during the exam.
