GATE 2019 : Late Fine Imposed on Delay in the Submission of Application Fee | Know Details
GATE 2019: IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Madras is currently taking online application process for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the year 2019 on its official website. Now the conducting body of GATE Exam 2019 has announced the fine for the late submission of the Application fee. As per the official notification of IIT Madras, GATE application process for 2019 will close on 21st September 2019.

GATE 2019: Candidates to Pay Late Fine if Delayed in Submission of Fee
Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) as per the official notification will be charging fine for the late submission of the application fee for GATE 2019. IIT Madras began with the online application process for GATE 2019 on 1st September and will close it on 21 September 2018. All the interested candidates will be allowed to pay the GATE application fee for the year 2019 during this duration only.
Although those fail to pay the application fee in between 1st to 21st September 2018 for GATE 2019, will then have to pay the late fine. In the duration of GATE 2019 application, the SC/ST/ Female candidate have to pay Rs. 750 whereas rest have to pay Rs. 1500 as application fee. Whereas after the last date i.e from 22nd September onwards till 1 October, GATE 2019 candidate has to Rs. 1250 (SC/ST and Female candidate) and Rs. 2000 (other candidates).

Indian Institue of Technology (IIT Madras) started with the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) for the year 2019 on 1st September. Whereas the same will close on 21st September 2018. Although the candidates can pay the online application fee for GATE 2019 till 1st October. Furthermore, till 16 November 2018, applicants of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the year 2019 can request a change in exam centre.
Candidates can then download the admit card for the IIT GATE Exam 2019 on 4 January from the official website i.e gate.iitm.ac.in. According to the official website, IIT Madras will hold the GATE Exam for the year 2019 on 2, 3, 9 and 10 February next year.
