As the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) aspirants are increasing in the city in the past three years, for the first time in the city, e-Gate (Live GATE) classes would be conducted by the GATE Forum. A workshop cum a scholarship test would be conducted on July 15 for GATE 2019-2020 academic year and the classes will begin from July 21.
Announcing the launch of the centre in the city here on Friday, Abhijit Chaudhari, Director, GATE Forum, said that most of the students aspiring to undertake ME and M Tech programmes or willing to land themselves jobs in prestigious PSUs like BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL and Power Grid Corporation, need appropriate guidance to undertake the GATE examination; someone, who not only can coach, but also give them a clear direction with useful tips to help them clear the qualifying exam of GATE.
With a swell in demand for skilled engineers in the country, particularly with the thrust on ‘Make in India’, it is imperative that the aspirants are well trained to meet the examination criteria. The GATE Forum is pleased to announce the re-opening of the centre in Visakhapatnam. The centre would offer a full-fledged classroom coaching programme, equipped with best faculty in the region to assist the GATE aspirants, Abhijit said.
