IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card 2018 : The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to soon release the admit card for the IBPS clerk prelims exam 2018 CWE Clerk VIII.
According to the official notification for the examination the admit card will be released in the month of November anytime.
IBPS plans to fill up more than 7,260 clerical posts through this IBPS recruitment exam. The examination would be held in two phases: preliminary and main. Those who clear the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear in the main. Those who pass the main exam will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks. The provisional allotment process is expected to be completed in April 2019.
The IBPS Clerk prelims examination 2018 will be held on December 8, 9, 15 and 16. The results IBPS Clerk prelims examination will be declared in December 2018/January 2019. The IBPS Clerk main examination will be held on January 20, 2019. The provisional allotment of banks to successful candidates will be made in April 2019. All these dates are tentative.
IBPS Clerk Admit Card Update: Admit card for IBPS clerk prelims can be expected anytime soon. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now expect the IBPS Clerk prelims admit cards soon. As of now, IBPS has completed the mains exam for PO recruitment and is yet to begin the clerk pre-exam training session of clerk recruitment. The pre exam training open to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwD categories will be held till December 1, 2018.
How to Download IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card 2018
IBPS Clerk admit card will be available for download at the official website ibps.in. Candidates can download it using their roll number/ registration number and date of birth/ password.
This year, in IBPS clerk prelims, instead of a composite one hour time, candidates will have to solve each section in an allotted duration. The time allotted for each section is 20 minutes. Till last year the exam was of one hour duration. In a composite time of one hour, candidates had to finish answering 100 questions in three different sections.
IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2018 Pattern
The preliminary examination will be of one-hour duration, with three sections carrying 100 marks for 100 questions. Candidates will get one hour to solve them. To be successful, one needs to qualify in each of the three sections by securing the cut-off marks set by the IBPS.
The main examination will have four sections carrying a total of 200 marks for 190 questions, and candidates will get two hours and 40 minutes to solve them.
There will be a penalty for wrong answers in objective tests pertaining to the preliminary and the main examinations. One-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted for each wrong answer. There is no penalty for leaving questions unanswered.
