IBPS CWE Clerks VII Exam 2017: Registrations begin at ibps.in
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the online registration process for the Common Recruitment for recruitment of clerks in participating organisations (CWE Clerks VII) on the official website, the link for which is ibps.in
The online examination (Preliminary and main) for the next common recruitment process for selection of personnel for clerical cadre posts is tentatively scheduled in December 2017 and January 2018.
Interested candidates can apply latest by October 3.
Steps to apply:
- 1. Log on to the official website, ibps.in
- 2. Click on ‘Click here for New Registration’
- 3. Enter all the required details in the prescribed format
- 4. Click on save and next
- 5. Note down provisional registration number and password
- 6. Open saved data using provisional registration number and password and edit (if required)
- 7. Upload scanned photograph and signature in the space provided
- 8. Complete the payment process
- 9. Use Save and next facility to verify details
- 10. Take print out of e-receipt and online application form
Application fee:
- SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates: Rs 100
- General: Rs 600
Eligibility criteria:
- Educational qualifications:
Candidates should have acquired a degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
- Age limit:
The minimum age of the candidates should be 20 years and maximum 28 years. (A candidate must have been born not earlier than September 2, 1989 and not later than September 1, 1997)
Scheme of examination:
Preliminary examination: The exam will consist of 100 questions based on English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability. It will be held for a duration of an hour.
Main examination: The main examination will comprise 190 questions based on general/financial awareness, general English, reasoning ability and computer aptitude and quantitative aptitude. It will be held for a duration of 160 minutes.

- Downloading of call letters for online examination-preliminary: November 2017(to be notified soon)
- Online examination Preliminary: December 2, December 3, December 9 and December 10

- Downloading of call letter for online exam-main: January 2018 (to be notified soon)
- Online examination-main: January 21
