IBPS CWE PO Main Results 2016: Declared at ibps.in

This year, the paper was of difficult level. There were four seating arrangements and puzzles in reasoning. English Language and Quantitative Aptitude were of moderate to difficult level.

Section-wise analysis:
Quantitative Aptitude (Difficult):
The level of quantitative aptitude was moderate to difficult. There were three sets of DI i.e. DI type – pie chart, line chart, missing DI and caselette.
English Language (Moderate-Difficult):
As compared to last year, the level of English was difficult. Along with sentence fillers, there were two reading comprehensions.
Reasoning Ability (Moderate-Difficult):
The level of reasoning was moderate to difficult. Syllogism questions were of different type this time, only ‘conclusions’ were given in questions and statements were provide in options.
- Puzzle 1- 12 people (north- south)
- Puzzle 2- 8 people (4 month 2 days)
- Puzzle 3- 9 people (manager)
General Awareness:
General Awareness section of the paper was moderate. This section was quite easy for those candidates who knew banking terms. Mostly questions were asked from Capsule.
Computer Awareness:
Computer Awareness section was quite easy. Almost all the questions were asked from history of computer and generations.

IBPS Mains Cut off 2016
With the declaration of IBPS PO Mains Result 2016, IBPS will conduct Common Interview of the shortlisted candidates on the basis of their names in the merit list. IBPS PO Mains Phase is considered as a very important phase in the entire recruitment process. The maximum weightage has been given to IBPS PO Mains. The score obtained by the candidates in Mains Exam will decide their appearance in IBPS PO Common Interview, for which admit card will be released at the official website in January 2016. IBPS will conduct the Common Interview for Probationary Officers Recruitment 2016 in 22 Public Sector Banks of the country.
What next after IBPS PO Mains Result 2016?
The candidates who will qualify IBPS PO Mains Exam will be called for Interview , which is to be conducted by Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. IBPS PO Common Interviews will be organised at various centres pre-decided by IBPS. The address of centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be published by IBPS in due course of time. All the candidates should keep their admit card ready before interview day.
The maximum marks decided for interview by IBPS is 100. The candidates are required to score minimum 40 percent in the interview which is 35 % of the reserved category including SC/ST/OBC/PWD. The weightage of IBPS CWE Mains Exam and Interview is 80:20 respectively. The combined marks of Interview and mains will be arrived at on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the Main Examination of CWE PO/MT-VI and Interview.
The candidates who will not qualify the interview conducted by IBPS will not be able to check their Interview Score. All the candidates are required to clear the IBPS PO CWE (Main) and interview. The candidates whose name will be sufficiently high in the merit will be subsequent eligible for provisional allotment process, details of which will be available on the official website.
