IBPS PO Prelims 2017 Result Declared
The preliminary officer examination results for 2017 have been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) today at ibps.in. Candidates who appeared for the same can check the status of their results from today. Currently, the message on the website displays that ‘STATUS DISPLAY WILL START BY LATE EVENING TODAY’. The link to access results would also be updated till late evening today. IBPS aspirants can visit the official website of IBPS in the evening to check their eligibility for the further process.

- Step 1: Visit the official website of IBPS at ibps.in
- Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the link that says ‘View Result status of Preliminary Online Examination for CRP PO/MT VII’
- Step 3: A new window will open on you computer screen
- Step 4: Enter your registration number and date of birth
- Step 5: Your result will be displayed on the screen
- Step 6: Check the same and save it for future use

The overall category-wise cut-off for IBPS PO 2016 prelims:
If we check last year’s cut-off, for English Language section it was 7.00 for general category candidates while 4.50 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD
For reasoning ability section, cut-off was 5.50 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD and 8.50 for general candidates. Similarly, in the Quantitative Aptitude section, the cut-off was 8.25 for general category while 5.25 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

The online main exam will be held on November 26 and its result will be declared in December. The interview will be held in January/February 2018, and the provisional allotment to the selected candidates will take place in April 2018.
IBPS plans to recruit 3,562 probationary officers (PO)/management trainees in various public sector banks and other participating organisations through this process.
Out of these, there are 1738 vacancies for unreserved candidates, 961 for OBCs, 578 for SCs and 285 for ST candidates.

Selection process:
Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a common interview to be conducted by the participating organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank.
