IBPS warns aspirants on fake bank exam notifications; PO and RRB exams to be announced soon

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is forced to clear the air on the recent notifications of PO and RRB exams, that are being shared on social media.IBPS, as the organization is mandated to conduct the selection processes for recruitment of employees in all government banks across India. Recently, advertisements in pdf format resembling the original IBPS PO and RRB notifications were spread on facebook, which was also re-published on other websites.The shared RRB notice claims to have 14,000 vacancies in regional rural banks, while the ‘look-alike’ PO notice mentions about 3000 odd vacancies.

Candidates, shared these notifications on social media which vent viral creating confusion in the minds of aspirants who were expecting larger number of vacancies. IBPS, has come out in the open to clarify about these advertisements, by publishing an ‘important notice’ on their official website – ibps.in. In it, they have said that these advertisements/ notifications and information that are being shared on websites/ blogs are misguiding and are not true.They are also requesting applicants to refer only the official website, ibps.in for advertisements and notifications.

IBPS RRB CWE VI Notification Not Released Yet, Fake News Ruling Social Media

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, commonly known as IBPS, conducts common recruitment process for the posts of Probationary officers, clerks, officers (scale I, II and III) and office assistants. Common Recruitment Process includes common written examination, common interview and provisional allotment.

Graduates in concerned disciplines (which will be mentioned in the IBPS notification) will be eligible for online registration.
As per the exam calendar released by IBPS, the preliminary exam for RRB officers and office assistants will begin in September; earlier than previous year’s schedule.

IBPS PO exam will begin in October. Candidates can expect the official notification immediately after the online registration of IBPS RRB VI.
