IOCL Recruitment 2019: 420 posts of technical, non-technical and technician trade apprentices.
Recruitment to the positions will be through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2019.
The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released a notification to invite the applications for 420 posts of technical, non-technical and technician trade apprentices. The recruitment drive will select the candidates under multiple trades for southern regions like Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The online registration for the same will begin on January 18 while the registration portal will be open till February 10, 2019.
Recruitment Details:
a) Graduate Engineers for recruitment as Engineers/Officers. In addition, few Graduate Engineers will be engaged as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) in line with Apprenticeship Act, 1961(and subsequent amendments thereafter) from Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical disciplines.
b) Post Graduate Engineers for recruitment as Research Officers in Research & Development Centre of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
c) Post Graduates in Chemistry (with minimum 2 years of relevant experience) as Assistant Officer (Quality Control) in the Marketing Division of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
Age limit:
General category: The candidate should possess the maximum age of 26 years as on June 30, 2019.
Note: Age relaxation for OBC SC/ST/PWD candidates will be applicable against reserved posts as per the presidential directives.
Selection process:
Recruitment to the above-mentioned positions will be through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2019.
Short-listing of candidates for further selection process (comprising of group discussion (GD)/group task (GT) and personal interviews (PI)) will be based on GATE-2019 score. GATE score of 2018 or any other previous examination is not valid.
