IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2019: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) looks for active and enthusiastic Graduate Engineers (Indian Nationals only) for employment as Engineers/Officers and few Graduate Engineers will be engaged as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs).

IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2019 Application will tentatively be available from January 4. Indian Citizens who have graduated in disciplines like Civil, Computer Science & Information Technology, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Metallurgical Engineering can apply for the IOCL Recruitment Via GATE 2019. Selected candidates will be recruited as Graduate Engineer and Officers based on the basis of their GATE 2019 scores and performance in the interview.

Once the admit card of GATE 2019 is available, the application form for IOCL through GATE 2019 will be released as candidates have to enter their GATE registration number available on their admit card. Remuneration for IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2019

Applicants selected as Engineers/ Officers will have an initial basic pay of Rs. 60,000/- per month. Additionally, the selected applicants will receive Dearness Allowance (DA) and further allowances, according to the rules of the Corporation in force, as revised from time to time.

Other allowances /benefits include HRA/subsidized housing accommodation (conditional upon place of posting), medical services, performance related pay, gratuity, contributory provident fund, employees’ pension plan, group personal accident insurance scheme, leave encashment, leave travel concession (LTC)/ LFA, contributory superannuation benefit fund scheme, transportation advance/ maintenance compensation, performance related incentives (PRP) etc as per rules of the corporation.

The Cost-to-Company (CTC), will be about Rs 17.00 lakhs per annum inclusive of performance related pay (PRP). The real CTC will vary depending on the place of posting, the financial performance of the Corporation and also performance rating of specific. The compensation of the executives is currently under review.

Age Limit for IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2019

For Graduate Engineers: Maximum 26 years as on 30th June 2019 for general category candidates.
For Post Graduate Engineers: Maximum 28 years as on 30th June 2019 for general category candidates.
Age relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PWD candidates will be applicable as per the Presidential Directives.

Relaxation in upper age limit by 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer), 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates will be extended as per the Presidential Directives.

Candidates must have downloaded their GATE 2019 admit cardand must use the GATE 2019 registration number mentioned therein to log in.
Care should be taken to enter the correct GATE 2019 registration number and the exact name as used during GATE registration.
Enter the other requisite information as asked.
Finally, click on Submit button for application submission. After the application submission, a unique IOCL application ID/number is generated along with the submitted application form. Candidates must note this IOCL application number/ID and keep it safe.
Further, candidates must download the IOCL Recruitment 2019 application form and take print out of the same for future reference. Candidates must affix a passport photograph (identical to one used in GATE 2019) on the printed application form and put the signature at the designated place and keep it ready for verification purposes if selected and called for GD/GT and Interview.

Selection Process of IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2019

Candidates who qualify in GATE 2019 in the respective discipline will be eligible for shortlisting if they meet the criteria.
Candidates shortlisted will have to participate in Group Discussion (GD), Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (PI) for assessment of different facets of knowledge, skill, attitude and aptitude in case and thus the recruitment will be done.
The final merit will be prepared discipline-wise. In order to be considered for the merit list, the candidates are required to secure minimum 40% marks in GD/GT and PI.
