JEE Advanced 2016 – Result, Answer Key, Cutoff, Counselling
JEE Advanced 2016 Examination has been conducted by seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) on May 22. Paper 1 was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 was held from 2 pm to 5 pm. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to various bachelor’s degree programmes in 23 IITs, including Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad along with other reputed engineering institutes
The IIT Guwahati will declare JEE Advanced 2016 Results on June 12. The results are accessible from the official website, the link for which is jeeadv.ac.in
This national level engineering entrance exam is the second stage of JEE. It was conducted only for top 1.56 lakh rank holders of JEE Main in 2016. As CBSE announced JEE Main 2016 cutoff, which was 100 for General category candidates, 70 for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL), 52 for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 48 for Scheduled Tribe (ST), nearly 1.98 lakh candidates above this cutoff in different categories were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2016. A candidate can attempt this exam a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.
How to check the JEE Advanced Results 2016?
- Go to the official website
- Click on the link, ‘JEE Advanced Results 2016’
- Enter the requisite details
After submitting the same, the results will appear on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.
