JEE Main 2017: Answer Key And Recorded Responses For Paper 2 Released At Jeemain.nic.in
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the answer key for JEE Main 2017 Paper 2. Along with the answer key, the board has also released recorded responses of Paper 2. Both, the answer key and recorded responses for paper 2, can be viewed and challenged through the JEE Main 2017 official website. Paper 2 in JEE Main 2017 is for candidates who wish to take admission in B.Arch. and B.Planning program. The JEE Main 2017 Paper 2 was also conducted on April 2, 2017 in second sitting.
How to check Answer Key/ Recorded Responses for JEE Main 2017 Paper 2
- Step one: Go to JEE Main 2017 official website: jeemain.nic.in
- Step two: Click on the relevant link, i.e. View/Challenge Answer Key of Paper 2/ View/Challenge Recorded Responses of Paper 2.
- Step three: Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
- Step four: Click on Login and view the answer key/recorded response.
All the candidates appeared in Paper – 2 of JEE (Main) are informed that this Paper is not linked with JEE (Advanced), so, the images of OMR sheets, recorded responses and answer keys of Paper – 2 will be displayed on the website for verification/challenge by the candidates on a later date which will be notified on the website and also published in the newspapers. Accordingly, the result/rank of Paper – 2 will also be declared later on.
About JEE Main 2017 Paper 2
JEE Main 2017 Paper 2 was conducted only in pen-paper based mode. The question paper consisted of Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test. Mathematics and Aptitude Test consisted of objective questions.
The board will declare the All India Rank for JEE Main 2017 Paper 2 on May 27, 2017.
JEE Main 2017: Answer keys, OMR sheets released at jeemain.nic.in
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) Main 2017 answer keys and OMR sheets, April 18.
The country’s largest engineering entrance exam, the JEE Main Paper 1 (BE/BTech) was conducted in offline mode, i.e in paper and pencil format today, i.e. April 2. Some students were happy with the question paper while others found it a bit difficult.
How to check the Answer keys, OMR sheets:
- Log on to the official website
- Click on relevant link
- Enter all the required details in prescribed format
- Click to submit
- Download and take printout of the same
Important note:
- The OMR sheets and the recorded responses of the candidates who have appeared for Paper 1 will be displayed from April 18 to April 22
- Also, the answer keys for both online and offline exams will be available till April 22
- Candidates shall also have to submit the prescribed fee of Rs 1000 per response or per question.
- The fee can be submitted through credit/ debit card, Paytm and SBI

JEE main 2017: The pattern followed this year was similar to the JEE main pattern from 2011 to 2016.
Over 10 lakh candidates appeared for the exam which was conducted in the offline mode for entrance to BE, BTech, BArch and B.Planning courses. Only the top 2,20,000 candidates who clear the main exam will be shortlisted for the advanced paper who will have to compete for 11,032 seats in the IITs.

Steps to challenge the answer key:
- Login on the official website of JEE Main, by filling in your login credentials.
- Navigate to answer key and OMR display on the official website.
- Fill out the application form to challenge the answer key.
- Select the question you want to challenge, and pay the fees. Challenging one question will cost 1000/-.
- Fee can be paid through debit/credit cards and e-challan.
- Submit the challenge.

JEE Main 2017 Paper 1 Analysis: Chemistry, Mathematics Questions Tricky, Says Students
More than 10 lakh students attended Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main examination today. The Paper I offline of the JEE Main was conducted in the morning session while Paper II is still on (while preparing this article). The JEE Main Paper 1 consisted of 90 questions divided among Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics equally. The online examination of JEE Main 2017 will be held on April 8,9.
It was a mixed reaction from the students regarding the difficulty level who have attended the exam today.
“My IIT JEE Main examination was held today. There were lots of hard questions. I tried my best, but I failed in some”, commented Dhananjoy who attended the exam today.
“The exam went well, I solved 33 out of 90 questions. Mathematics was easy, and I found Physics to be tricky”, said Vinay Kale, from Vashi, Mumbai.
“For me Physics was alright, but Mathematics was little difficult. To avoid negative marking, I attempted selective questions,” said Vedangini.
Meanwhile, various coaching institutes have come out with the Paper 1 analysis and answer keys.
