The legal systems of the countries at present can basically be divided into two categories: civil law and common law. Civil law, also known as the Roman law system, civil law, the Department of Code Act or the Romano-Germanic legal systems, is the inherited tradition of Roman law, established legal system modeled on the French Civil Code and the style of the German Civil Code. At present, the world follows the legal system but in mainland China is the civil law. Hong Kong and the Commonwealth countries which include India have adopted the

common law, which is also known as the Department of English law, or case law.

High school graduates cannot apply directly to law school, as they must first undertake the Law School Admission Test, and then one can apply for law school. After three years of studying one is granted J.D. degree. J.D. degree in the United States is the most valuable degree & has been widely recognized. Course Curriculum

The first year is learning the basic legal courses, such as contract, tort, property, agents, civil and legal writing. Criminal Law and Civil Procedure are also the first year of study subjects. The first year of law is the most difficult among the three-year law courses.

The second-year students is about the courses in the basic industry activities related to industrial and commercial legal issues, such as commercial law and public justice .It also includes to study the basic subjects of public law, such as the constitution , administrative law and tax law.

The third year of the course are mostly elective.

The Bar Exam

States are organized by the lawyer qualification examination, and if one would like to practice in a state, it is necessary to participate in the examination of the state-sponsored lawyer. Through after the exam, and then after a certain character to examine access to a lawyer’s license, one can appear in state court proxy parties.
