Common Entrance Test 2015 for Health Science Courses
Government of Maharashtra shall conduct “Common Entrance Test” MH-CET-2015 for Health Sciences degree courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O and BSc Nursing, B.V.Sc. & AH courses) for the academic year 2015-2016
The Entrance Test MH CET 2015 will be held on 07th May 2015 (Thursday) at all the district headquarters in Maharashtra
Eligibility Criteria for MH CET 2015
Health Science Degree Courses: The candidate must be an Indian National. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Non Resident Indian (NRI)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible
The candidate must be born on or before 31st Dec 1998 to be eligible to appear for MHCET-2015
However, for admission to Ayurved and Unani courses, candidate must be born on or before 01st October 1998
The birth certificate indicating name of the candidate, Secondary School Certificate i.e. SSC or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate endorsing the date of birth will constitute a valid proof
Eligibility Criteria of Qualifying Exam for various courses:
MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS: A candidate belonging to Open Category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination
A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation and constitutional reservation with Person with Disability claim must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination
Person with Disability in General category must secure not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Exam
BHMS, BPTh & BOTh, BASLP & BP&O Courses: Passing grade at HSC/12th Standard or equivalent examination is however necessary
BHMS, BPTh, BOTh: Candidates who have pass HSC/12th Standard or equivalent examination with Physic, Chemistry & Biology is however necessary
BASLP: Candidate who has passed 12th standard examination with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and/or Mathematics and/or Computer Science is eligible
BP&O: Candidate who has passed 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and / or Mathematics is eligible
The candidate who is appearing for qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent exam) in Feb/Mar-2015 is eligible to appear for MH-CET-2015, however they must fulfill the eligibility condition at Para 4.5 at the time of filling up of the Preference Form
BPMT: Candidates need not appear for MH-CET-2015 for BPMT course; admission to BPMT course will be done on the basis of HSC/12th Standard examination marks; the admission will conducted at institute level

The MH-CET-2015 will consist of one question paper Containing Multiple Choice questions (MCQ)
There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered
The candidate desirous of selection to Health Science courses and BVSc & AH should appear for MH CET 2015; the candidates will be provided one OMR Answer Sheet and Question Booklet
At the Health Science DMER, Mumbai (3) MH-CET-2015 Brochure end of paper, candidate will hand-over the OMR Answer sheet and Question booklet to the invigilator
No candidate is allowed to leave the examination Hall till the end of examination
The candidate will be required to mark the correct answer by blackening the corresponding circle against the serial number of the question in the answer sheet with black ink ballpoint pen only
Out of four circles provided for selection of an answer against a question, the candidate should fill up one circle only
There shall be no negative marking
Language of Question Paper: The medium for examination shall be English or Marathi or Urdu.
The option once exercised about the medium by the candidate on online application shall be irrevocable

Exam Centre
The MH-CET-2015 will be conducted at all the district headquarters of the State of Maharashtra
The MH-CET Exam Center will be within the same district from where the candidate has passed/is appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard Exam
For the eligible candidates passing qualifying examination from outside the state of Maharashtra, the Competent Authority shall allot the exam center
The center once allotted by the Competent Authority shall not be changed under any circumstances. In the online application form, the facility for choice of distinct of examination center is available only for the candidates who have passed / appearing HSC 12th/equivalent from outside the State of Maharashtra
How to Apply
i) The information brochure for MH CET 2015 is available on website “www.dmer.org”. Candidate is advised to download and print the brochure. For submission of online application form the candidates should login “www.mhcet-exams.co.in” website. The detail procedure for online submission of Application form & Registration is as follows:
ii) Procedure for MHCET 2015 Registration and payment through State Bank of India (SBI) branches: A candidate has to first register for MHCET 2015 at www.mhcet-exams.co.in and only then he/she can make the payment at the branches of SBI
a) Registration: In order to register online, the candidate has to visit the website www.mhcet-exams.co.in and click MHCET 2015 Registration
The MHCET2015 Registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill-in the online form. The information to be provided includes personal details and uploading of your recent colour passport photograph and signature
b) Filling of Online Application Form: The candidate will be prompted to enter his/her valid email id, mobile No and a password on the first login; all these three must be carefully noted and retained by the candidate for all future correspondence with MHCET Office, downloading MHCET Admit card etc
The candidate can continue and complete his/ her filling up of educational details
c) To Upload Photographs & Signatures: Please note that all the applicants are required to upload their scanned/digital recent colour photograph and signature. File size of each of the Photograph and Signature should not be more than 50 KB per file. The online application system will not allow uploading files larger than 50 KB. All Candidates have to upload his/ her Photograph and Signature only in “Jpeg” format and file name of Photograph and signature should preferably be photo.jpeg and sign.jpeg respectively
d) For Uploading Photograph: Take your recent colour passport size photograph. The picture should be taken against a light/white background. In case the face on the photograph is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected. Candidate should upload such scanned/digital photograph
File size of each of the Photograph should not be more than 50 KB per file, otherwise it will not be allowed by the System to upload
To reduce the size, crop the image of the passport size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor Please ensure that only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph
e) Payment of fees at State Bank of India (SBI) Branch: The candidate has to take this printed MHCET Bank challan to any of the SBI branches (https://www.sbi.co.in/corporate/branchlocator.htm) to make the payment after 48 hrs of registration
Please tender Rs.800/- plus Rs.60/- Bank Commission for Open Candidates and Rs.600/- Plus Rs/60/-Bank Commission for Reservation Category Candidates
On the printed bank challan, the bank will enter the date of payment, Journal No/Bank Transaction ID, Branch Name & Code and put a bank seal on each part of the bank challan
The bank will retain the Bank’s copy of the bank challan and return the rest of the bank challan to the candidate
Admit Card
Candidate should visit website “www.mhcet-exams.co.in” any time between 27th April 2015 and 06th May 2015 and take a print out of the same where candidate’s MHCET 2015 Roll No., the address of the Examination centre will be mentioned
Candidate has to appear for examination with downloaded Admit Card and any Photo ID proof (School/College Identity Card, Pass port)
Issue of Admit Card is merely an enabling document for appearing at the MH CET 2015 and does not imply that the candidate satisfies all the requirements of eligibility conditions of admission to health Science Courses

After declaration of merit list, specified number of candidates will be called to fill the preference form at four centers (Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur & Aurangabad). On the basis of choices given by candidates the selection list will be displayed course-wise & college-wise on the website www.dmer.org
