Madras HC calls for all question papers on June 12 for inspection, delay in NEET UG 2017 Results extended.
Adding to the woes of the medical aspirants the NEET UG 2017 Results and the release of NEET Answer Key 2017 has been extended. The Madras High Court bench (HC) has called for all question papers on June 12 for inspection, delay in NEET Results extended. This year the NEET 2017 exam was conducted in 10 different languages on May 7, 2017. As per reports, Justice S.S. Sundar, holding the portfolio for hearing cases relating to education till the end of this month, passed the order when a writ petition. The petition has been filed by A. Jeroba Cladwin, a student from Pudukottai district.
In his petition he has questioned the methodology adopted by the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) in preparing different question papers in different languages, came up for admission. The petitioners also claimed that students in Maharashtra, Karnataka and West Bengal were also agitated over different question papers having been prepared in different languages. There have also been allegations against CBSE that they did not inform the students earlier about the difference in question paper.
It has also been believed that the question paper in Tamil was much easier than the one in English. It has been alleged that the policy of One India One question paper is not being followed and that one question paper is a must for NEET. It is important to note that the different assessment of intelligence and aptitude will differ as the paper were different. Earlier, on May 24, Justice M.V. Muralidaran passed an interim order restraining the CBSE from declaring the NEET results till June 12. That order was passed on a joint writ petition filed by a group of nine students from Madurai and one from Tiruchi, seeking a direction to the Central government to cancel the test conducted on May 7.
