CBSE NEET 2018 exam online application process shall begin from January next year with the tentative schedule of examination process released online. The National Entrance Eligibility Test i.e. NEET 2018 exam dates as per media sources have also been released online, although no official word from the conducting authorities of the NEET 2018 online. The controversy building up on the grounds that the changing conducting body of the online NEET 2018 being either CBSE or National Testing Agency i.e. NTA is another unresolved mystery that is yet to have an official stamping on it by the authorities of the online medical entrance test. The most probable date of holding and scheduling the NEET 2018 exam for the upcoming year seems to be May 10, 2018 as per the sources. This is purely beating the conventions as against the last years’ trend of holding it on May 7, 2017 i.e. Sunday., this time the exam shall be conducted on a weekday. Also, the biggest question of all times in the NEET controversy that has arisen out from the blue recently is after the proposition of introducing a new conducting body for all the CBSE exams including NEET 2018, JEE Mains, etc.

Though, it is definitely on the cards that the Ministry of Human Resource & Development is eagerly looking forward to handing over the charge of making NTA hold the NEET exam.
But as of now official word has come out from authentic sources disclosing as to who shall conduct NEET 2018. The conducting body of the NEET 2018 in case such indecisiveness shall rest with the CBSE only as all previous interests were vested with the Central Board of Secondary Education with the NEET 2018 exam. All we hope and pray is, no controversy in the code of conduct of the NEET 2018 shall cast its shadow like NEET 2017 which was more than just an entrance exam surrounded by innumerable multiple controversial issues. he CBSE conducted the NEET on 7 May 2017 for admission into approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS and nearly 25,730 BDS courses. As per the information available on MCI & DCI websites, 470 medical colleges and 308 Dental colleges take part in the official admission process based on NEET results.
Out of the 10,90,085 students who appeared in NEET exam, 6,11,539 have passed the medical entrance examination which was held on May 7.
Medical aspirants should note that online registration for JIPMER MBBS 2018 will begin on 7 March; twenty days ahead than last year’s registration date. JIPMER MBBS entrance exam will be held on 3 June and the first counselling will begin on 27 June. Last time, the exam was held on 4 June 2017 and the hall tickets for the same were released a week before. JIPMER Director Dr S C Parija told PTI that as many as repeat 1,89,663 candidates have applied for admission and the entrance test would be held at 339 centres across 75 cities in the country. The entrance examination was held for a total of 200 seats; 150 out of which are at JIPMER Puducherry and the rest at JIPMER Karaikal.
