NEET Phase II 2016: Errors Found In Question Paper
A fresh case has come to light where few mistakes in CBSE NEET Phase II Question Paper have been noticed by few students and coaching centres.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted the NEET Phase II examination on July 24 whereas NEET I was held on May 1.
Also, there were reports about the paper leak but later CBSE refused the claims and said it was an attempt made by some unscrupulous elements to cheat the candidates on false promise.

Meanwhile, a fresh case has come to light where few mistakes in paper have been found by few students and coaching centres.
Details of the issue:
- Errors in about 3 questions have been noted
- There was mistake in question 67 of set APW and its corresponding questions in the other sets
- Sources said that students were given two correct answers to choose from four options
- Also, errors have been noted in question 158 in Set A and Physics 24 in set A, where the answers were incorrect according to various coaching centres
- Now, there is a possibility that candidates might get 8 bonus marks
- But, the final decision will be made by the CBSE.

Meanwhile, as per the official website of CBSE AIPMT, the answer keys for both the phase of NEET will release on August 7 on its official website.
Moreover, this year more than 4.75 lakh candidates registered for the NEET II examination out of which 90 per cent appeared for the examination at 739 centres in 56 cities.
Also, the combined results of NEET-I and NEET-II will be declared by August 17.
CBSE clarifies on NEET- 2 Paper: Leaked paper was not original
CBSE through a press release clarifies that leaked NEET-2 Paper was not original. CBSE further added that the board has successfully conducted National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – 2 (NEET – 2) on 24th July, 2016 across the nation including Srinagar. The material seized from the persons involved in the leakage of paper by Uttarakhand Police is entirely different from the original question paper of CBSE NEET – 2. This was an attempt made by some fraud people to cheat the applicants on false promises and news regarding leakage of question paper was false and very far from facts.
Approximately 4.5 lakhs candidates have registered to appear in CBSE NEET – 2 examination at various centres across the nation for Approximately 40,000 MBBS & BDS seats under 15 per cent quota seats in government colleges.
The final result for NEET – 2 is expected to be declared on August 17 and the counselling session for the qualified NEET – 2 candidates would begin from August 18 till September 30.
