NEET 2017: Supreme Court To Announce Final Verdict On Age Limit, NEET Online Application Date Extended Till April 5
The National Eligibility test cum entrance test (NEET) 2017, registration process has been extended till April 5.
This announcement comes in after, Supreme Court today, March 31, has allowed candidates above 25 years to appear for NEET examination.

PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE NEET(UG) 2017
Candidates have been given an opportunity to submit the online application for a month period from January 31 to April 5. This year in all the seats of MBBS/BDS courses, admission will be made through NEET (UG) 2017.
The examination will be conducted in 80 cities across the country on May 7. Also Indian citizens, non-resident Indians, overseas citizens of India, person of Indian origin and foreign nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG) 2017 and will also be eligible for 15 per cent all India quota seats.
However, the official notification is yet to be out at the official website AIPMT website, aipmt.nic.in.
New system introduced
To address the request of the registered candidates, a new system of making request through login ID of individual candidate has also been developed. With the same motive, information bulletin has also been chapterised topic-wise for easy access of information.
Recent update on NEET -UG:
- The NEET-UG will be conducted in six additional languages from the commencing academic session 2017-18, a statement released by the Union Health Ministry
- The six languages in which the exams will be conducted are Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu and Tamil apart from conventional English, Hindi
- “In addition to this, candidates qualifying for NEET will be eligible to an all-India quota and other quotas under the state governments/ institutes, irrespective of the medium in which the exam is taken by the candidate,” said the Ministry.
Paper pattern:
The exam will be based on the three subjects physics, chemistry and biology.
Meanwhile, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 was successfully conducted on July 24 and the results for the same were released on August 16. The results of the second round of seat allotment for NEET 2016 were declared on September 12.
The site currently displays the message ‘Site is under construction and will be launched shortly.’
