The education system in New Zealand is based on the traditional education system in the UK, therefore a student can complete an undergraduate degree in NZ & pursue a masters degree in any English speaking country.

NZ Education System has levels & the levels are described below:
Level 1, 2 & 3 – Senior Secondary School
Level 4 – Certificate Courses
Level 5 & 6 – Diploma Courses ( After finishing school 12th)
Level 7 – Bachelors/ Graduate Diploma (after graduation)
Level 8 – Bachelors (Hons) / PostGraduate Diploma
Level 9 – Masters
Commencement Dates:
Generally there are two semesters in an academic year :
February – June & July – November
Although few schools do offer intakes on April & August as well.
