IIT Delhi has released GATE 2020 notification few days ago. Know which all PSUs recruit through GATE score, the eligibility criteria needed, when the application process will start and other details here. 

PSU Recruitment Through GATE 2020 – Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi released GATE 2020 Notification on the official site of GATE at gate.iitd.ac.in . Candidates who had appeared in the written GATE 2020 Exam and can now check their score card from the official website of GATE. It is important to note that the GATE score card will only be available for the qualified candidates only. The score card can be downloaded from March 16, 2020 till May 31, 2020.

GATE 2020 examination was held in February 2020, which was conducted for four days – 1^st, 2^nd, 8^th and 9^th of February The GATE Result 2020 was released on March 16, 2020.

When GATE 2020 Score Cards are out, candidates who want to apply for jobs can apply for ongoing PSU jobs. It is compulsory to have a GATE score for the recruitment process of some PSUs. 

How to Apply for PSU jobs

• Step 1. Visit the official website of the reputed PSUs offering the job.
• Step 2. Fill the application form available on the website.
• Step 3. Click on the GATE details tab and enter the required details pertaining to GATE 2020. 
• Step 4. Click on ‘submit’ button.

GATE Previous Years’ Question Papers

Since 2012, recruitment of PSUs is done majorly through GATE scores. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE is a national examination conducted for graduate-level candidates every year to test the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. Every year GATE is conducted by anyone of the seven Indian Institute of Technology or IITs and Indian Institute of Science or IISc Bangalore of the country. 

This year, GATE 2020 will be conducted by IIT, Delhi. The application process will commence from September 3, 2019, onwards. Candidates who are keeping an eye on PSU jobs through GATE 2020 can apply for the examination through the official site of at gate.iitd.ac.in.

GATE 2020 Jobs Eligibility Criteria

The first and foremost eligibility criteria to apply for any of the PSU jobs that are recruiting through GATE is to appear for the exam first. GATE examination will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020 for 25 subjects. Apart from GATE scores, some PSUs require the pass percentage or CGPA obtained during graduation, age limit, a medical certificate to check fitness.

GATE 2020 Jobs Application Process

The application process for GATE 2020 Jobs starts from the month of September-October. Many PSUs recruiting through GATE score releases their notifications and starts the application process from next month. However, some PSUs starts the application process for the recruiting engineers after GATE results are declared, i.e., from March onwards.
