Public Notice regarding requirement of 12 Digit Aadhaar Number in future Railway Recruitment.

The reason to make Aadhaar Number mandatory for railway recruitment is to avoid the cases of forged identity. The recruitment board will try its best to ensure that the candidate appearing for the exam is the same as that one who has applied for it. Recruitment Category:

NTPC: Candidates aspiring to pursue a career in Indian Railway under a Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) will have to appear for RRB NTPC examination. RRB conducts Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam to recruit Commercial Apprentice, Goods Guard, Traffic Apprentice, Traffic Assistant, Assistant Station Master etc. The exam is expected to be conducted in the month of April 2019 and its application form will be available from February 2019 (tentative) onwards.

Pay Scale:

NTPC: Level 01 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of INR 18000/- plus other allowances admissible at that time.

RRB NTPC 2019 Vacancy:

Position: There are vacancies for several posts in different RRBs which may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration.
Reservations:There are reservations provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories. Further reservation is provided to ex-servicemen, PWD candidates and widowed/separated women.

RRB NTPC 2019 Reservations:

Vertical Reservation: This exam provides for Reservation for SC/ST and OBC, as mentioned in the vacancy table. For availing reservation, SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates should furnish at the time of document verification, a Caste Certificate from competent authorities as per the format required.

RRB NTPC 2019 Exam Pattern:

Structure:The RRB NTPC Exam is conducted in 2 rounds. The first exam is Prelims Exam followed by the second exam which is the Mains Exam.
Marking Scheme:There will be a total of 100 questions each carrying 1 mark. Total time duration provided is 90 minutes.0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

RRB NTPC 2019 Exam Centre

The examination centre is the place where the candidate is entitled to write the exam. The centre is decided on the basis of either roll number or the choice of the candidate.
In the application, the candidate needs to provide a priority wise choice of 5 exam centre cities, where he/she would like to take the exam.

RRB NTPC 2019 Steps to Change Exam Centre:

Step 1: Go to the official Railway Requirement Board Website
Step 2: Enter your Registration no. and Date of Birth(DD/MM/YYYY).
Step 3: Go to ‘Helpdesk’ tab at the top.
Step 4: Click on ‘Log new Ticket’.
Step 5: Select post applied for (Assistant station master, Traffic Apprentice, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist etc).
Step 6: Next select ‘Examination Details Related’ in the problem category.
Step 7: In problem type, choose one of the following to change your test cities based on your issues:
- a) The test centre is too far from your place.
- b) Test city allocated is not as per the preferred cities selected by the candidate.
- c) Can test centre be changed?
Step 8: In problem statement, type “Need a change of test venue to”.
Step 9: Click on Submit.

RRB NTPC 2019 Syllabus :

RRB NTPC Syllabus 2019 basically included General Knowledge, General English/ General Hindi, Basic Arithmetic, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical skills, and basic technical part for technical posts.
