Reason For Delay: As per the schedule, the SBI clerk mains result likely to be declared on August 16, 2016 along with cut off marks and score card. SBI Clerk mains result 2016 delayed due to internal issues on selection process.
But here’s a possible theory that may solve the issue this topic is having. According to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement earlier, he had said that each recruitment process must be completed within six-months duration. If we follow that saying, then SBI clerk recruitment began on April 4, 2016 and on coming October 4th, it’ll be six months. And since there are no interviews (at least according to notification, and putting aside the rumor), the results of clerk mains exam will almost complete the recruitment process. Earlier the reports about SBI holding interviews for this clerical cadre recruitment seemed stronger with all of it’s ongoing back and forth situation with Centre, but now, the chances of interviews are somewhat thin. Let’s hope that SBI doesn’t introduces any new tier to it’s recruitment like RRB or SSC.
The cut-off for each subject will be decided by SBI on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level. Reportedly, 25 lakh candidates applied for the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2016 for around 13700 posts including 10,726 posts for Junior Associate and 3,008 posts for Junior Agricultural Associate. Around 3 lakh candidates were shortlisted for Mains exam.
This exam was conducted for recruiting candidates to the post of clerical cadre. The bank has already conducted the preliminary exam for which the result has been declared. The mains were conducted on June 25 and 26.
The State Bank of India (SBI) is likely to declare SBI PO Mains Results 2016 on August 16 on its official website.
