SBI PO 2016 Mains Exam Pattern Changed
SBI has changed the pattern of SBI PO 2016 Mains Exam which is to be held this year. Now there will be fixed allotted time limit for each section in the phase II e. Mains Exam and in that allotted time you have to complete that particular section. The official notice as well as the application form for SBI PO is expected to be released in the month of May 2016.

SBI PO 2016 Mains Exam New Pattern Announced
(i) SBI Po Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 25 marks.
(ii) Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online.
(iii) Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer.
(iv) Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
Changed in pattern of Mains Exam
Objective Test:
(i) The objective test of 3 hours duration consist of 4 Sections for total 200 marks.
The objective test will have separate timing for every section.
The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests
by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 25 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

The State Bank of India has released an official notification inviting all the interested, eligible candidates to apply for the post of Probationary Officers (POs).
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer, is required to register online for the Recruitment Process. The examination will be held in two phases – preliminary and main. Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Group Discussion & Interview. Prospective candidates will have to apply after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examinations and interview, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfil the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
All the candidates interested in applying must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised by the central government.
Also, the candidates who are in the final year/semester of their graduation are also eligible to apply.
Age limit:
All the candidates need to be in the age group of 21 – 30 as on April 1, 2016. However, candidates from the reserved category will get age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection procedure:
All the candidates need to appear for the written examination that will be conducted in two phase’s i.e. preliminary and main examination, followed by group discussion and personal interview.
Pay scale:
The selected candidates will get a starting basic salary of Rs 27,620 per month with four advance increment.
Application fee:
The candidates from the General/OBC category need to pay Rs 600 for each application form. Candidates from the SC/ST/PWD category need to pay Rs 100 as application fee.
