SBI PO Main Exam: Do Not Carry These Items Inside Examination Premises
The State of Bank (SBI) will be conducting the Probationary Officers (PO) Main examination on July 31. The admit cards for the same will release on July 21.
How to download SBI PO Main Exam ?
- Go to the official website
- Click on the link, ‘SBI PO Main Admit Cards’
- Enter the requisite details
- After submitting the same, the admit cards will be published on a screen
- The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.
The exam will be conducted on July 31. The candidates must carry admit cards at the examination centre, failing to which they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Paper pattern:
The exam will consist of Objective Test and Descriptive Test.
Objective Test:
It will have 4 sections based on Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness and English Language. It will be held for a duration of three hours and will carry a total of 200 marks.
After qualifying in the main examination, the candidates will be eligible for the phase III i.e. Group Discussion and Interview.
Descriptive Test:
After qualifying the objective test, the candidates will be eligible for this test. It will be based on Language(Letter writing & essay) and will carry a total of 50 marks.The duration of the test would be 30 minutes.

- Genera; (PWD): 7
- OBC: 7
- OBC (PWD): 7
- SC/SC(PWD/ST/ST(PWD): No restriction
Important dates:
- Download of call letter for online main exam: July 21 onwards
- Online main examination: July 31
- Declaration of results – main: August 16
- Download of call letter for interview: August 22
- Group discussion and interview: September 1
- Declaration of final result: September 30.
The Candidates Who Are Appearing For The Test Are Not Allowed To Bring Any Of The Following Items In The Examination:
1. Electronic Devices Are Not Allowed:
Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination/interview is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including ban from future examinations
2. Not to Bring any Item:
Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination/interview, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot be assured.
3. No Ese of Calculators:
Candidates are not permitted to use calculators or have in possession in examination premises
