Shodhganga Online Portal for Research Scholars Pursuing PhDs and Mphil

HRD Minsitry’s initiative ‘Shodhganga’ to help PhD students with research based information & study material

MHRD’s online platform ‘Shodhganga’ is all set to help PhD students with theses and other study material amid lockdown. The online platform encompasses 269778 theses, 7500 synopses.

Ministry of Human Resource Development, MHRD has launched an online platform ‘Shodhganga’ for research scholars amid lockdown. The online platform will help the research scholars to access information on the theses and other study material.

The decision to launch this online platform was taken after research scholars pursuing higher studies like PhDs and Mphil etc have been hemmed in by lack of research facilities, guides, and lectures due to the lockdown.

A total of 438 universities have been contributing to the portal. While speaking with media houses, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that the platform would enable researchers confined to their respective homes to access study material and theses in vernacular languages, Hindi and international languages.
