Notice with regard to challenges/responses of candidates for CGLE-2016
The SSC CGL Cutoff 2016 of Tier-I will be declared along with the declaration of result in the October first week. The candidates who are declared qualified in Tier-I as per the cut off marks fixed by the Commission will be eligible to appear in the Tier-II examination of SSC CGL 2016. SSC will be conducting the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam from 27 August to 11 September 2016. The Commission intends to conduct the Tier-II exam of SSC CGL tentatively in the month of November 2016. The result of which is expected to be released in the month of January 2017. The Tier-III and DEST/CPT is proposed to be held after the declaration of the Tier-II result in the month of January 2017 simultaneously. The Final Result of SSC CGL 2016 along with the Cutoff will be released in the last week of April 2017.
In the examination huge no. of candidate was took place. What is SSC CGL Cutoff 2016?
To be considered for any level of SSC CGL 2016 recruitment process, the candidates need to score minimum marks as decided the Commission. Candidates need to qualify in all the Tier by securing separate Cutoff score. However as per the new guideline, there will be no sectional cut-off.
Procedure for declaring the SSC CGL Cutoff 2016
- SSC CGL 2016 Cutoff for Tier 1 is the basis of shortlisting of the candidates for next level – Tier 2
- Candidates qualifying the Tier-II by securing the desired Cutoff will be considered for Tier 3.
- After the Written Examination and the Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test/Document verification wherever applicable, the Commission will draw up the All India Merit List for each category of post.
- As many candidates as are found by the Commission to have qualified in the Examination shall be recommended for appointment for each category of post up to the number of vacancies available, taking into consideration option for the posts.
- The Commission will recommend the candidates in the Merit List on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and preference exercised by the candidates in the Application Form for different Posts.
- Once the candidate has been given his/her first available preference, as per his/her merit, he/she will not be considered for any other options.
- SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates, who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards, along with candidates belonging to other communities, will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies.
- Such SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates will be accommodated against the general/unreserved vacancies in the post as per their position in the overall Merit List or vacancies earmarked for their category, whichever is advantageous to them.
Important points related to SSC CGL 2016
- Tier-1 Cut off is the minimum marks, you need to score in the CGL Tier-1 Exam, to get qualified for Tier-II Exam.
- The Tier-1 Cut Off will be released officially by SSC, only after the declaration of the results.
- The Cutoff will be less when the Question Papers of Difficult and it will surge when the level of Difficulty is less.
- The SSC CGL Cutoff 2016 will be depend on number of vacancies. More the number of vacancies, lower will be the Cutoff.
- There has been substantial increase in the Cut offs over the Last few years and with every increasing year, Cut offs tend to go higher, which means Competition is growing day by day.
