SSC CGL Tier 3 From May; Result For Ssc Tier Ii To Be Announced By March End
SSC has not announced any particular date for the release of SSC CGL Tier II exam result. Since SSC CGL Tier 3 is expected to be held in May, it is expected that SSC CGL Tier II result will be announced by March end.
Amid the ongoing protest by lakhs of SSC job aspirants alleging question paper leak of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) Tier II, SSC has decided to postpone the SSC CGL tier 3 descriptive paper to May 2018.
Earlier, the Commission had scheduled it to be held on March 31, 2018. Besides, SSC had re-conducted the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam- for the exam held on February 21, 2018- at as many as ‘174 venues in 61 cities for 35,146 candidates. While the average attendance in Paper-I was 92.81%, Paper-II recorded 72.05% attendance.
Rescheduling of Examination: Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-III) Descriptive Paper The Tier-III examination of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 31.03.2018, has been postponed and will now be held in the month of May, 2018. SSC CGL 2018 began with Tier 1 examination, which was held from August 05 to 24, 2017 for 15,43,418 candidates. Candidates argued that the examination held before August 15 were tougher than the exams held after the due date.
Commission dismissed the claim and went on to conduct Tier 2 exam between February 17 to 22, 2018. A total of 1,89,843 Tier 1 qualified candidates appeared for it. There was not single but multiple reports of irregularities. To start with, the mathematics paper was reported to have been leaked on social media. The online exam at the centers was not conducted very well, even screenshots of one candidate taking the exam from the remote location were circulated online.

The ongoing SSC CGLE 2017 violated code of conduct protests are speculated to be one of the major reasons for the extension. Delaying schedule of the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-III Exam from March to May 2018 is officially announced by authorities online. The protests by students have taken an ugly turn this year. ‘Students are going bald with many wearing black’ to the exam hall as a silent protest against the Commission.
SSC on the other hand has consistently released notifications officially to maintain its stand on its defending its code of conduct for various SSC online recruitment exams.
