SSC GD Constable PET & PST 2019 to commence in August: Check Important Guidelines & Instructions
After declaration of final answer keys recently, SSC has now announced the tentative dates for PET/PST Constable GD recruitment.
SSC GD Constable 2018-19 PET & PST : Staff Selection Commission has released important guidelines and instructions for the SSC GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) 2018-19 Exam to be conducted by CAPFs at various centers. Earlier, SSC notified that SSC GD Constable 2018-19 PET & PST will start tentatively from 1st August 2019. Total 54953 vacancies have been announced for the posts of SSC GD Constable this year.
SSC GD Constable Physical Admit Card 2019: The Staff Selection Commission had declared the result of the examination held in February-March 2019 for GD constable posts last month. Applicants who are successful in the written examination are now awaiting a physical test, which will be conducted in 1st August 2019.
According to the official notification of the SSC, the PET / PST test will be organized from August 1, 2019. The CRPF will organize the physical test and its admit card can also be downloaded by visiting the CRPF’s official website. Speaking to the Navbharat Times.com, the CRPF recruitment officer told that, “We are trying to issue an admit card on time but due to the high number of applicants, this may also delay” the CRPF official issued an admit card Did not disclose the date.
The Physical Tests will be conducted by the CAPFs in the month of August – September 2019 tentatively for the posts of Constable Ground Duty (GD) in:
- Border Security Force (BSF),
- Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF),
- Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
- Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP),
- Secretariat Security Force (SSF),
- National Investigation Agency (NIA) and
- Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles
SSC GD Constable PET & PST 2018-19: Important Instructions & Guidelines
Let’s have a look at the important instructions and guidelines issued by SSC for GD Constable 2018-19 Exam going to commence from 1st August 2019 (tentatively):
1. Items to be carried during PET & PST:
Candidates are required to carry:
- i. Printout of Admit Card
- ii. Original Photo ID
- iii. One Passport Size Colour Photograph
- iv. Original documents as per instructions given in the Admit Cards
2. Discrepancy between Application Form and Exam Scorecard:
In case of any discrepancy between the online application form and result/Examination Score Card released by SSC, candidates are required to raise the concern to the Regional Office of the Commission by 31st July 2019. Candidates are advised to send a print copy of online application form and result/Examination Score Card for raising concerns and issues.
3. CAPFs will conduct Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates must remember that Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will conduct the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for SSC GD Constable 2018-19 Recruitment and SSC would not be conducting the physical tests. Under Physical Efficiency Test (PET), CAPF will conduct the race for both male and female candidates. Under Physical Standard Test (PST), SSC will measure the height & weight of both male & female candidates and chest size of male candidates only.
