SSC GD Constable Result 2018 declared on June 20, Evening at ssc.nic.in

Staff Selection Commission has released a result of the Constable GD Recruitment Examination. The wait of the candidates’ results (SSC GD Constable Result 2019) is over. Candidates can check their results ( SSC GD 2019 Result ) by visiting ssc.nic.in. The Staff Selection Commission had issued notification for recruitment of 54,953 posts of Constable (General Duty) last year. 52 lakh 20 thousand 335 people had registered for these posts. Constable recruitment examination was organized from 11 February 2019 to 11 March 2019. Three lakh 41 thousand 284 candidates took part in the recruitment examination. Let us tell you that the maximum of 21,566 posts in 54, 953 posts are in CRPF. After this, there are 16,984 posts in BSF, 8,546 posts in SSB, 4,126 posts in ITBP and 3,076 posts in Assam Rifles. The remaining posts are in CISF and other CAPF. 

Staff Selection Commission has postponed announcement of SSC GD Result 2019. Now result on June 20 Evening, 2019, instead of May 31, 2019.This postponement of result by three weeks has caught more than 30 lakh job seekers by surprise since there have been no such recent events that could have caused this delay.

Steps to Download SSC GD Result 2018-19

1. Visit the official website of SSC. i.e. ssc.nic.in.
2. Click on SSC GD Constable Result 2019.
3. Enter the required credentials and click on the submit button.
4. The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
5. Candidates can download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

 

The examinations was held from February 11 to March 11, 2019 (For 18 days). The examination is being held for 58,373 reported vacancies will be recruited through this recruitment drive out of which 50066 vacancies are for Male candidates and 8307 vacancies are for Female candidates and 30,41,284 candidates appeared at 297 venues in 125 cities.

The Commission had notified a total of 54953 vacancies for Constable (General Duty) Recruitment 2018-19. As per sources, a total of 52,20,335 candidates had applied for this exam out of which only 30,41,284 candidates appeared in the exam.

Expected Cut-Off for SSC GD Constable 2018-19 Online Exam (CBE)

Questions asked in the exam consisted of easy to moderate level questions under four sections – General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English or Hindi. Also, there was no negative marking for wrong answers.

SSC GD Constable Cutoff 2019 – The cutoff of SSC GD Constable is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for next stage of selection process. Candidates must score equal or above SSC GD Constable cutoff 2019 fixed by the commission. The different qualifying cutoff standards for candidates belonging to different categories and States are fixed by the commission keeping vacancies into consideration for each State/ UT. SSC releases the minimum qualifying cut off percentage for computer-based examination along with the notification. The minimum qualifying cut off percentage for General category and Ex-servicemen is 35% and for SC/ST/OBC is 33%. However, the overall cut off will be released by SSC.

SSC GD Constable Naxal /Militancy Cutoff

The States in North-Eastern region and J&K and domiciled in Naxal/Militancy affected areas are considered for vacancies under reserved category for Naxal/Militancy affected districts in these State/UTs. The cutoff of SSC GD Constable of these affected states is separately released by SSC. In 2015, candidates who had qualified for medical examination for Naxal/Militancy affected districts were 19,480 male and 1,549 female candidates.

SSC GD Constable Border Districts Cut off

There are eight states listed under the border districts under which vacancies are reserved for SSC GD Constable exam. SSC releases the cutoff of border districts cutoff separately. 1,186 female and 5,157 male candidates qualified for medical examination for border districts in 2015.

SSC GD Constable Cutoff 2019 for Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who will qualify the cutoff of the computer-based examination will have to appear for PET. Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates based on height parameters, PET (race), biometric identification, screening of testimonial, chest and weight measurements by a board. Candidates who qualify SSC GD Constable PET/PST test are eligible for the medical exam. The commission will release the list of shortlisted candidates for PET/PST for the candidates who will qualify the cut set by SSC.

SSC GD Constable Cutoff 2019 for Medical examination

Candidates who score above or equal than the cutoff released by the Commission state wise, for naxal and border areas are eligible for medical examination. The selected candidates undergo medical test by the Commission to check candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein and squint in eyes. In this stage document verification of selected candidates are done. The commission releases the final merit of candidates on the basis of computer-based examination.

In 2015, candidates who qualified for medical examination were 1,29,617 male and 15,185. On the basis of the written and the detailed medical exam 51,678 male and 5,336 female candidates were appointed to the post of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles in 2015. 

SSC GD Constable Cutoff 2019 for Final merit list

The final merit list of selected candidates is released by SSC. The selected candidates are allotted their force by Nodal CRPF/MHA and their final result is declared. In the merit list released by the commission in 2015 of SSC GD Constable exam, around 51,678 male and 5,336 female candidates were finally selected.
