Eurostar’s Channel Tunnel line connects Paris and London in 2.5 hours only. A student generally doesn’t need a car and can travel easily by bus, city trams, subway, and also by air and train for longer journeys.

According to the U.S., “Huffington Post,” the British “Daily Mail” comprehensive news, the British research firm uSwitch recently released the 2010 European Quality of Life Index rankings. France became Europe’s most suitable for the country life
British research firm uSwitch 10 major European countries surveyed, judging criteria included residents of net income, prices, government investment in education, health, retirement age, the length of leave, working hours, life, sunshine days and many other indicators. The results show that France, Spain, because of lower prices, people live longer, become Europe’s most suitable for the country life.
The rankings are as follows:
1 France – France is in Europe one of the earliest retirement age, but the average life expectancy of the residents is the longest in Europe. French workers enjoy 36 days paid leave per year, far more than in Britain 28 days. French government investment in health care to the residents accounted for 11% of GDP, this indicator is also the first in Europe.
