UGC Gives Relief to Teachers and Students, Extended Date for Application of Schemes

Today the whole country is lockdown, in such a situation, candidates cannot apply for the UGC Fellowships as well as many schemes related to higher education on time. Now UGC has brought a new opportunity for them. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the deadline for students and teachers to apply in all schemes, meaning that Candidates can now apply for it by 30 September.  

Earlier, the last date of application for the candidate was set as 31 March 2020. Explain that there is a constant demand for students and education. Please tell that teachers and students had raised their demand through social media from UGC and Ministry of Human Resource Development. Due to these complaints, the UGC has taken this decision.

Let us tell you that there are many such fellowship schemes for which even students with teachers wait for a long time. In such a situation, those who are unable to apply get upset. The UGC has extended the fixed duration of a total of 32 different schemes involving students, teachers and institutions. The UGC has written this letter to all universities. Also, these instructions have been given to make them aware of this.
