UGC Fake Universities List: The list of fake universities released by the UGC, here is the complete information

UGC Fake Universities List: UGC uploaded a list of 23 self-proclaimed, bogus and non-affiliated universities on their website.

University Grants Commission ie UGC has released 23 list of self-proclaimed, fake and non-affiliated universities, the highest of which are eight in Uttar Pradesh. UGC has cautioned the students against taking admission in these institutes. UGC Secretary Rajneesh Jain said, “Students and people are informed that at present 23 different and non-recognized institutions are violating UGC Act in different parts of the country.” Eight of these universities are in Uttar Pradesh, followed by seven in Delhi. There are only one fake university in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Puducherry.

UGC declares 23 universities as ‘self-styled, unrecognized’; maximum in UP followed by Delhi 

UGC said, “These universities have been declared bogus and they do not have the right to do any degree.” In the list of commercial universities in Delhi, United Nations University, Vocational University, ADR – Central Juridical University, Indian Institute of Science and Engineering, Vishwakarma Open University for Self Employment and Spiritual University, fake university are included.
