UGC NET 2020 Result for the June examination has been declared on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Check your UGC NET 2020 NTA Score Card, Final Answer Keys and Cut offs here for Assistant Professor, JRF here.
National Testing Agency, NTA had released the final answer keys and cut offs for the UGC NET 2020 June examination yesterday and today morning respectively. The results were released at 10 am on December 1.

UGC NET 2020 June Final Answer Key and Cut off
Candidates who have appeared for the examination can check the final answer keys and cut offs from the lists provided below. A few subjects have reported an increase in the cut off while for most of the subjects the cut offs have remained relatively similar to previous years. With the various lockdowns in place, the UGC NET 2020 June examination was delayed and conducted between September 24 and November 13. As many as 8, 60, 976 candidates had registered for the examination. Of the total, only 5, 26, 707 candidates had appeared for the exam.
UGC NET 2020 June examination was conducted for a total of 81 subjects across the country. The NET certificates for all those who qualify the examination would be available online as well on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates are advised to keep a check on the website for latest updates. Information, once available, would also be provided on this page.

UGC NET Cut Off Determining Factors
Some factors that affect the UGC NET Cut Off are mentioned below:
- The number of candidates appearing for the exam.
- The level of complexity of the question paper.
- The number of seats available.
Criteria to Determine UGC NET Cut Off
UGC NET Cut Off criteria for each subject is shown in the below steps:
Step 1: The total number of qualified candidates in the exam shall be equal to 6% of the candidates who appeared in both papers of the exam.
Step 2: The total number of slots allocated to candidates belonging to different categories as per the reservation policy of the Government of India.
Step 3: Minimum marks required by the candidates to score to be considered for the award of JRF and/or eligibility for Assistant Professor are mentioned in the below table:

Step 4: Qualifying factor for the candidates who will qualify the UGC NET will be based on his/her category for each subject. The aggregate percentage secured by the candidate in both the papers corresponding to the number of slots shall determine the qualifying cut-off to get eligible for Assistant Professor in any subject for each category.
Step 5: The total number of slots available for awarding JRF is allocated among different categories as per the reservation policy of the Government of India.

JRF Score Validity
The validity period of the offer is three years w.e.f the date of issue of JRF Award letter. However, in case the candidate who has already joined M.Phil. /Ph.D., the date of commencement of Fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of NET result or date of their joining, whichever is later.
NET E-Certificate
The role of NTA is only upto the conduct of NET Examination and declaration of result. The e-certificates to qualified candidate are issued by UGC- NET Bureau. So the candidates declared qualified in NET are informed to contact Head, UGC NET Bureau, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg , New Delhi, Pin Code-110021, Phone No. (011-24116316, 24115416, 24115419).
